Replaced my son's ZTE phone with the LG Phoenix 4. The increased memory size was the main goal but we were pleasantly surprised with how nice this phone is.

Purchased this phone with AT&T service to use in Puerto Rico. My carrier did not have service there. I used the hotspot from the Phoenix 4 with my regular phone. Worked great. LG was easy to use and kept signal strength high throughout my travels through P.R. Even had good reception in the mountain areas. Battery life was very good. Performed perfectly for my travel needs.

Although I have only had this phone for 2 weeks, it has exceeded all my expectations and has worked flawlessly. That in its self is great, but to purchase it for under $40 makes it all the better.

Got the phone to temporarily replace a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge that went bad... this LG is snappy enough, not a turtle for the $40 dollar price...and the battery life is Amazing...

This is my 2nd one of this same phone. I bought my first one about 19 months ago and it still works good except that the screen is cracked. It is very durable. I have dropped it many times before, but this time it fell on a bunch of pointy rocks and the screen cracked. The amount of internal storage in the phone is sufficient, and it supports a large microSD card. The picture quality is decent and it is a very easy phone to use. I highly recommend it.

I brought this phone for my moms a while back it lasted for a good year! I got it on sale for like $40 dollars just to upgrade her till she got the phone she wanted. As time progressed on it started to slow up and give her trouble but as I stated before its a decent cheap temporary phone if you are looking not to spend too much on a phone and for something just to get you going such as the basic talk and text. You can't beat the price.

We had to buy this in order to activate a phone line with AT&T for a short period of time. We just needed to be able to monitor one of our old phone numbers for a couple of months, so I didn't need to spend a lot of money for the latest-and-greatest phone. We just needed to be able to see if any calls or texts came in every few months. You DO NOT need to use it as a pre-paid phone. I popped the SIM card from my wife's old iPhone and it immediately connected to the network. No special steps needed. If you need an inexpensive smart phone for AT&T, this is a great option. Frankly, for $40, you get a lot of phone. If you're comparing this to a current Android or iPhone, you will find the phone slower and a bit clunkier to use. If you're a parent with a young kid who wants their first smartphone, this is probably a great place to start. You can use all of the programs from the Android Store so you can do all of the social media, web, email, etc. that more expensive phones can do. It just won't be the fastest or technically-strong solution, but it works and seems well made. Keep it in perspective - it's a $40 phone. Expect features and performance in line with that. For what we need, it is an excellent option. For a parent who wants a phone for a young kid who is learning the responsibility of having a phone, this would be a great option.

I bought this phone and a prepaid plan from ATT to use to replace my land line. I was able to port my land line phone number over to the new phone. It works great and I'll be able to keep my old phone number when I move to another state. When I went to the prepaid plan I had bought a cheaper flip phone because all I wanted was a basic phone to replace my land line. It was not easy to use so I took it back and replaced it with this phone. Even though it is a smart phone it is easier to use than the simple flip phone.

Something about the shape of my hands makes a power button on top or sides quite inconvenient--whenever someone hands me their phone to look at, I turn it off accidentally; not so with this one. Also, the slightly larger screen makes it much easier to only select one letter at a time whne texting.
