I've been out of contract for years. I've been buying Pay As You Go phones, and I try and find one that is both affordable and capable enough to keep up with current apps. So far, this Nokia 3.1 A has run smoothly, with no crashes or problematic input lag. The 18:9 (or 2:1?) aspect ratio is very comfortable to hold. The only negative I've observed so far is that the screen's maximum brightness is not all that bright, and feels like 70-80% of the brightness of my prior phones. It doesn't make it hard to see, and I imagine it helps conserve the battery, but it always feels like it should be just a bit brighter.

I got this phone because my old one broke, easy to use and great price. I just use it for the basics and great as a transition phone till I get my new one.

we use the prepaid phones with the phone plans. they are a lot cheaper and last long enough until they run out of space and you need to replace them. this one has 32gb so it is pretty good for the price.

Bought the phone for my 11 year old son and it's perfect for him, not to big and not to small. Easy to operate. Perfect phone for middle schoolers.

It was easy to switch my sim card to this phone. The price was what made me get this phone and all of the reviews were pretty good. The two things that could have been better 1. Have it in stock at store to keep from having to order it online, I had to get it delivered. 2. The charging cord didn't work when I pulled it out of the box and I had to buy a new one. Over all so far so good.

I'm not tech savvy, so my brother tried activating it for me and couldn't. Took it to Best Buy and the sales associate took care of it. The issue was it was asking for a QR Code that we couldn't find to scan. Since I was already an AT&T customer, all I needed to do was call the company and have them transfer the service. I just need to learn where everything is located.

So far I haven't detected any problems with this phone except it really doesn't hold a charge that well
