    We got this to use on a new unlocked phone because we heard that AT&T coverage was best in our area. Getting this SIM kit from Best Buy was a lot easier than having to go into the cellphone store! And putting the SIM in was a fast and smooth process. Very happy with the results!

    So, AT&T has notoriety of having worse US coverage, so keep that in mind. However,my phone is an unlocked phone and only works with AT&T like SIM cards. But, with that said, using a pre-paid plan does eliminate the stress from contract phones, allowing you to cancel at any time, or switch to another compatible network. So it's up to you to decide.
