My family uses go-phones; the more basic, the better. We all replaced various older models with the Z222 and we've all been pleased with this model.

Bought this as a low price phone. We had another old phone but buying a new phone was actually cheaper than buying a new SIM card. The voice quality is good and it has good reception using the AT&T network.

Bought it to replace my wife's phone. She is not tech savvy, and only wants a mobile phone. It is a good flip-phone, sound quality is good, and ringer is loud. It has all the other abilities of a non-smart-phone. Not used as a Go-Phone, used on family plan.

Really great for a person looking for a decent phone to communicate. Simple and easy to handle; no confusion! Works great for teens and adults just looking to call and text :)

For $15 and no contract... this phone accomplishes what it is supposed to. It works. Make phone calls, receive text messages, etc. Of course, sending texts is kind of a pain since there's no keyboard - but if that's what you're looking for, you're buying the wrong phone. This is a BASIC phone. I was actually kind of surprised that it has bluetooth and a reasonably decent speakerphone.
I only needed a temporary no-frills phone... this fit the bill. I met my (very basic) needs. Now... I have an emergency phone that I can pop my SIM card into if something happens to my "real" phone... and I have a new A/C to USB power adapter and USB to mini-USB cable that I can use for other devices.

Excellent for day to day use if you don't need to use internet. Very easy, cheap and reliable. Battery lasts for days. Only problem would be the memory, but what do you expect from a cheap phone.

I got this to replace my previous flip phone. A very fine replacement with a few more features than my old one, like a camera and some limited internet. Great for someone who isn't looking for high price smart phones, just a nice plain flip phone.

I do not use a cell phone to "stay connected". I just use it as a phone as needed. The camera is pretty low res, but I wasn't even expecting a camera, so I can't complain. I love how compact it is.

I needed a simpler phone, I do not text or surf the web. Just needed a flip phone with the basics. That is what this is, and works perfectly for me. Call me old fashioned, but this is just what I wanted.

I was notified by AT&T that my flip phone needed to be upgraded. I had lost track of time and didn't realize I was carrying a 2G phone. AT&T refused to give me a new flip phone, so I went online to BestBuy and found an At&t GoPhone - Z222 No-Contract Cell Phone - Dark Blue. The reviews were solid and the price was definitely right. I have used it for a couple months now and it works great. Doesn't drop calls, holds a charge for several days and both me and the people I speak with can hear each other. For me this is what I'm looking for in a phone.

This GoPhone is easy to use. I really like the loudness of the ringtones, because I am hard of hearing. The size is great and I'm glad they still make a flip phone. Good little phone.

GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO HIGH PRICE SERVICE PROVIDER PHONES: When my mother's flip phone stopped working, her service provider wanted $200 to replace with a refurbished phone since she was months away from an upgrade. Best Buy sales rep had us hooked up with this phone in less than 15 minutes and for 90% less money!!!!!! The icing on the cake - this phone worked better than her old one. She has a hearing deficit but has no problem with calls on this phone. She is also "old school" and ease of use was very important. She is very satisfied and was actually glad the old phone died.

It's a rather basic flip phone but it works perfectly as a replacement for my grandmother's phone (which was at least a decade old). Even connects to the microcell I have set up.

I purchased this phone for my elderly mother. While she had an upgrade on our plan, she liked the simplicity of this one. "I just want a nice, plain phone..." And that is what this is!

If you want a phone that is simply a phone, this will work perfectly. It has good sound clarity and I've had no trouble with it. Popped in my current sim and was good to go. Battery life seems the same as every other flip phone I've had. My only complaint is the fact that the screen and buttons are smaller than my last flip phone, so if you have trouble seeing small things (or have large fingers) it could be an issue. It works well for my needs and even has quite a variety of ring tones to choose from.

Got this on sale for only $8. It's a great phone to have around when you want to take a break from the constant pull of smartphones, for those times when you don't want to carry your precious smartphone where it may be more susceptible to loss or damage, or simply to have around as a backup.

My dad prefers flip phones since they are simpler to use and also much more heavy duty.
It's light and very portable.
Don't have to worry about cracking the screen while working
