got for someone who does not like smart phone - easy

My husband will not use a smart phone, this is perfect for him. He can take pictures and make and receive calls. Best of all it fits in his pocket!

I bought this for my 86 year old mom. It works great for basic phone communication. As far as texting and web browsing I cannot give additional information. My primary goal was basic phone service and it did this very well. I would guess that the text functionality would be good as well as it travels over the same signal as phone with my carrier. Signal strength was better than my smartphone. So all said I am pleased with the price and performance free from an inexpensive piece of equipment.

Great phone. Purchased for my grandma. Numbers are big enough and speaker is loud. Perfect for my 83 year old grandma.

Solid, inexpensive, easy to use. A good extra phone when traveling, etc.

Though I need a cellphone, I don't need all the extra features that even a minimum phone usually contains. My friends mock me occasionally when I whip out my flipper, but I can call and I can receive calls for $25 for three months on an AT&T plan. And the phone itself cost like $3.00. Eat your hearts out, "I" people.

My dad has had this type of phone for about 3 years and he recently bought it again because it's perfect for simply just calling and texting.

This Go Phone is perfect for my 93 yr. old father who lives alone and needs a simple cell phone to keep in his pocket (for safety & emergency reasons). He does not need an expensive monthly plan, so I fill his phone with $100.00 and it lasts him throughout the year and costs about 8.00 a month. Perfect solution for a cell phone for Great Grandpa!

Bought this to use at work as the duty phone until we could get something better. Overall works great for calling and texting.

At&t Gophone - Zte Z223 Prepaid Cell Phone - Great basic, no frills phone that is easy to operate and is very inexpensive.

Works as expected. My daughter just loves to have a flip-phone, rather than a smartphone (otherwise she's very tech-savy). This is one of the few remaining models. AT&T prepaid works great, too.

I was looking for a simple pay-as-I-go phone to replace my 2G phone that was soon to be obsolete. Did not want a contract or features I'll never use. Emergencies, quick calls, etc. and this phone covers it.

Bought this phone for my dad as he was having problems working the iphone 5 he had. He would butt-dial people at all hours of the day and night. He did not utilize the features of the smartphone and this flip phone gave him all the necessary features he needed without the problems he was having.

I got this phone for my thirteen year old as her first phone and got her a goplan with no data. We may be archaic parents, but we felt she should not have a more expensive and fragile smart phone as her first phone. She likes it and the simplicity, durability, and functionality of this phone have been perfect for her so far.

We bought this for our teen son so he can contact us in an emergency. Nice phone and lots of features. He had an iPhone but it was stolen from him at school and he was nervous about taking another smartphone and getting it stolen again. Only bought this for $9 and it's quite unlikely someone will steal a flip phone.

this is a good phone for everyday use. it is very basic not meant for surfing.
