Customers are saying

Customers value the ZTE Maven 4G LTE for its affordability and ease of use, frequently praising its user-friendly interface. Positive feedback also highlights the camera quality and battery life, although some users wish for more storage and RAM. The phone's performance is considered adequate for its price point, and the screen size is generally well-received. However, limited internal memory is a recurring concern among users.

    Great Phone For the Price

This phone is so low in price, with so much functionality, that it is a great, inexpensive substitute for an IPOD Touch. Just add a micro-SD card and there is room for a lot of music. Also, Android supports Google Play Music, so with a Google Chromecast-Audio you can stream music to any stereo, or even a bluetooth speaker that has an auxiliary input jack.

My phone took a swim down the river and this was a quick fix until my contract is eligible for an upgrade. It is not the fastest in the world and I can not have all my apps on it, but it does let me get on the internet, send emails and play games. I have a sd card in it which helps give me the ability to have all my music and pics.

Very pleased with phone, the reviews on this phone were spot on, I did my homework and it worked to my advantage! I find myself utilizing the phone more than I thought I would, now I understand why people get so addicted to these smartphones. I do wish however the volume was better, I do have to use the speaker on every call I make in order to hear them. Camera is wonderful!!! I take tons of pics now.

Purchased for in-laws, who never had a smart phone before, and they were able to learn how to use it relatively quick. Can't beat the price.

My teenage son broke his Samsung Galaxy S4. We still had several hundred dollars to pay on it. The Best Buy employee showed us the prepaid phones they had in stock. I believe this was the cheapest at only $70. It has been an excellent replacement phone for my son. He has had it for a few months, and is pleased with the speed and function of the phone. It is similar to the S4 in terms of speed.

This is my first smart phone. So far it works great. Used the wifi feature at home. Made a few test phone calls. Easy to use. I can't wait to try to listen to music at the gym (one of my main reason for buying). Overall it's a nice phone at a reasonable price.

This is the 2nd ZTE phone I have purchased. The ZTE Maven was just the right price for the large screen size and memory and the fact that it was for my teenager. They can play the games they want and it is fast. They get a new phone without me spending a lot of money. This is also a replacement phone, so all I have to do is put the SIM card in and it works with my current phone plan. No new contracts and no added fees.

Bought this phone for my kids. Its cheap but works for the things they like. A few games, text and an occasional call. We have had no problems adding it to our AT&T account and the kids haven't complained.

It's not the fanciest phone but its comparable with all the newest apps. User friendly and very surprisingly as fast at task as an iPhone!

I bought this phone around the same time I bought the Fire Tablet, because it was on sale for 29.99. my wife doesn't like complicated phones or big to the hand , so she could text or use it with one hand. the battery is very decent , the phone has a good grip to it and the screen is average and so is the camera on it ( 5 mp ) you can't go wrong by buying it for the price as a replacement or as a second phone just in case you need a back device in case of an accident .

    Cheap smart phone for no-contract

I bought this phone for my mother, who dropped and broke her phone but was not approved for an "upgrade" with AT&T. She was using a basic sliding phone with touch screen and a key pad, but not a true smartphone. The ZTE Maven was not only a functional choice, but an upgrade! Rather than spending $300-500 for a new smart phone, she was able to get a lesser name brand smart phone to fit her needs in a pinch. Granted, at $60-70 you get what you pay for so don't expect Samsung S6 quality, but I would still recommend this phone to anyone who needs a "break-in" smart phone or someone who quite literally breaks their Android or even iPhone, and needs a smart phone replacement without taking the financial plunge. With no contract, this would also serve as a good temporary phone in between upgrades.

So I've held out on getting a Smartphone until I saw this one on sale during Black Friday. After doing my research I saw the many features it was loaded with and finally made the jump. It has everything I need without having to commit to a pricey iPhone or Galaxy. Thumbs up!

I needed a replacement phone mid contract and this was a lifesaver! I have AT&T service and just put my SIM card in and was good to go... Pretty basic for an Android, but works well as a backup phone.

I remember when Maven eliminated the Undertaker from the Royal Rumble. That was a great moment in time. This Maven is alright for what it is, a cheap android phone. It gets the android job done, but probably can't beat the Undertaker. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
