Customers are saying

Customers value the ZTE Maven 4G LTE for its affordability and ease of use, frequently praising its user-friendly interface. Positive feedback also highlights the camera quality and battery life, although some users wish for more storage and RAM. The phone's performance is considered adequate for its price point, and the screen size is generally well-received. However, limited internal memory is a recurring concern among users.

Works great for the price, running android 5.1 fast enough to keep pace with apps.

I've had it 3 weeks now and so far so good. Caught it on ad for $30. Using it on my regular ATT plan; not as a pre-paid Go phone. Best for basic user who doesn't require a lot of apps. In phone storage (8 Gb total) and RAM (1 Gb total) is limited for user after OS and pre-loaded apps. Add a Micro SD card for more storage. 4G and WiFi connections are both good. It does use the micro SIM (3FF). If you currently have an activated SIM that is mini (2FF) or nano (4FF), then it is not "swap and go" without an adaptor; you will have to get the new micro SIM activated to your account. Permanent battery so when this one dies, it is time for a new phone. This is NOT in the same class as an iPhone (again, I paid $30 for the Maven) so trying to compare it to an iPhone or Galaxy, as some reviewers do, is not a fair comparison. This replaced a ZTE smartphone which still works fine after 2 years...I just wanted an upgrade from 3G to 4G.

The ZTE Maven is a great Android phone. Has all the essential apps and a slot for a micro SD card for additional storage. The Maven is an excellent value at this price point.

This phone is a great buy for its small price tag! My only complaint is the quality of the front facing pictures... Sometimes very grainy. The forward facing camera is awesome though!

I bought an additional SD card when I purchased the phone, so memory wasn't an issue. My biggest complaint is the grainy texture of the forward facing camera. The rear facing took great pictures, but the "selfies" are anything but...

Great basic smartphone. I only text and talk very little so I didn't need one that costs a ton of money. I like this phone as it gives me the memory storage I needed so I can send more texts without having to go in and constantly delete old ones so I can text more. My old basic phone was a pain in that area even though I liked the phone. I found this one on sale on Cyber Monday 2015 for $17.99 and I had a $5 off Best Buy reward certificate to use so my new smartphone only cost me $12.99!! What an awesome deal that was! Glad I purchased this as it is easier to use for texting than my old phone. I recommend this as a great basic smartphone for anyone. The phone was a little heavier than I thought but it's still a good phone.

This phone gets the job done. I needed a temporary replacement phone while my iPhone was being repaired. I picked up this phone and it worked surprisingly well. The battery life is excellent. It doesn't have amazing power or technical specs, but for the price you can't get any better. The phone worked very well with minimal lag. I had no problems placing calls or connecting to wifi either. If you're looking for a basic starter phone, replacement phone or just a cheap phone that works well, this is a good choice.

I purchased this phone as a back up. Good for the money and easy to set up. I connect to a Wi-Fi and get onto my social media quick. Not much memory but has a slot for an external micro sd card.

My Mom had never used a Smart Phone and I decided to get her this one. Super easy to activate, refill and use. She feels so comfortable using it now and because it's priced reasonably she doesn't worry so much about damaging it or losing it. We were also able to find an inexpensive case to put on it, so it should last a ling time.

This is a good cheap phone if you're on a budget. The only issue is that the charger was a bit loose when fitting in. The screen requires a bit harder taps than a higher quality smart phone. Activating the phone was a breeze.

I bought this phone for my wife, as her Galaxy S5 died suddenly and we needed a phone ASAP. It only has 8gb of memory so you'll need a micro SD to store apps, but we already had one. Phone works well and is actually quite fast.

since this is a cheap phone I expected it to feel cheap but to my surprise it has great build quality, and it feels good in the hand (not cheap) and its one of the faster off contract phones I've used

Battery life is tremendous. After installing a 32GB microSD chip, I was able to move "some" apps to it, and disabled some of the ATT-apps that I am not using, to make room for apps that I care about. It is just barely enough. Having unlocked with code from ATT, I am now awaiting the release of unrooting of the phone methodology, so that I could get rid of the apps I don't use, if it ever shows up. At any rate, this is a great cell phone as a primary phone, not back-up phone.

While this phone isn't going to satisfy the needs of a hardcore phone user it's a great phone for the price.I've found ZTE to make quality phones for a much lower price than the Apples,Samsung's & HTCs.If you buy this phone understanding that your not going to get top flight specs than I recommend it because it does everything that you need a smartphone to do.

Has all the bells & whistle's of your flagship type phones from Samsung, LG, Sony, etc. Very reliable, good battery, bright screen easy to see in sun light. My only complaint is processing speed, not Lte speed which is very fast!.. It says its a quad core but behaves like daul core, other than u can't beat for this price point..!
