I was surprised by how much the battle mechanics have changed for this game, but thankfully, the game offers a good tutorial at the beginning, and once you get the hang of things, it all becomes pretty intuitive. Though, I very much still preferred the mechanics of the prior games. The graphics are beautiful, the voices sound flawless, the game is long so get ready to play this one for a while, and each character is his or her own person; meaning that no character feels like a copy of another. Loading times... they aren't too bad, but on a Switch 2 it loads a bit faster. I can recommend this one with little hesitation.

I'm not that far into the game yet because of other commitments, but it is fun. I wouldn't recommend jumping into this one over the first two, but if you enjoyed those this is a must buy. It is more and better imo compared to the other games. The battle tweaks make it feel more fluid and I just love these characters so it is recommended. However, if you are not a Atelier person I don't think this would be your thing.

Ryza is probably my favorite character in the Atelier series. I didn’t think Ryza 3 could get any better than the other games but somehow it did. If you want a game with a heartfelt story, cozy vibes, some combat, and cute visuals, then this is the game for you. I just wish that the Nintendo Switch looked a little better when it came to graphics.

Best Atelier game by an absolute mile. Not even remotely close. It's a huge game (something like 4x the size of Ryza 1 and 2) and alchemy always gives you incentive to explore. The story has a lot more going on than previous installments and relies less on the sort of independent slice of life events they used. Tons of quality of life features like faster gathering, tracking materials, etc. Combat feels fun and rewards you for spending time crafting the best stuff. Old characters have less development since they've already kind of gone through their arcs but the new characters pick up the slack. Overall great experience.

It is a recent Atelier title (so decent) and Ryza so there need not be much more said on this topic

This is a must own for fans of the series, and true Jrpg fans. Beautiful world environments and stunning visuals. The same gameplay we all know and love. The tunes that get stuck in your head as you traverse the world make this a great finale to the Ryza trilogy.

Very chill game but can become difficult if you dont pay attention to the crafting. I dont really appreciate the random sexualization of Ryza either.

Like all Atelier games, the formula is about the same, collect reagents to craft things. This entry is just as good and perhaps better with all the quality of life improvements. Definitely a relaxing game with fun mechanics and good story.

Sad to see this series end but it’s been well worth the ride. Ryza is turning it up all around in this iteration of the series.

Like the other 2, this one is terribly mediocre and only worth buying and playing if you're an idiot like me and have bought every game in the franchise. It does very little to let itself apart or improve on the second game, so I guess if you're extremely masochistic and for some reason enjoyed that one, then this could be right up your alley. Switch version runs pretty well but with the trademark awful bloom that the other two also had issues with seemingly only in this version.

It's an alright game. Doesn't have a solid ending to the trilogy. The open world feels confusing and empty at times. Despite this it is an impressive port on the Switch 1, and has tons of quality-of-life features from older Atelier titles. The new alchemy Key function is actually very intuitive and practical. Would recommend on sale, just be aware Ryza 2 was better than Ryza 3.

I was hesitant to get this on the Switch due to being concerned that the graphics and performance would take too big of a hit. I'm very happy with it actually. I also have this game on the Ps5 and obviously it looks even better there but the Switch version looks and runs great especially in handheld mode.
