Pieces started to crack when I was putting it together. I had to return it for another because of this. The second attempt at putting it together was much better because I knew what not to do. Make sure you don't stand it up until it's fully put together. It's made of cheap balsa wood, and very flimsy when it's completed. Nonetheless, I wanted something to hold my DVD's and that's what it does - Which is why I gave it 3 stars. I highly suggest you anchor it to the wall...

This was difficult to assemble because it requires that a large number of small screws be used to affix the back panels to the frame. The frame is extremely flimsy until the panels are secured to it. The top shelf can only be used to store CDs, and not DVDs, which I found annoying. Once assembled, it serves the purpose. Given that this is one of the few products available to store DVDs, I reluctantly recommend it.

The cams won't tighten enough making it very unstable and as i was tryIng to put it together, the notch where one of the shelves go in snapped in two, going to return it and make my own. Particle board garbage!

This is very cheap and fragile wood. I broke the first one I bought while trying to put it together and went and exchanged it and broke it again! I still was able to finish setting it up, and it works fine and looks good. but its very cheaply made. If i ever have to move I may as well throw it away bc I'm sure it'll break. But if it just stays in the corner where I have it, I'll be good!

This is not sturdy or made properly you will have to be gentle when screwing in the pieces or it'll break and you are going to have to drill it to your wall

Judging by the picture, I thought the shelf was a lot bigger. It was a pain putting it together and I was disappointed when I saw how small it was. It definitely has to be laid against the wall as the weight of the games/dvds/cds will cause it to tip over. Not sure how it will hold up but I can't see it lasting a long time. If you are looking for a stable shelf to put your games/dvds/cds, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Hold a good number of media. Unsteady better screw it to the wall

We bought two of these along with the much larger version. The idea was to keep the kids in the smaller ones and the adult movies in the larger one. They all went together easily but the one smaller one leans to one side... A LOT. We had already returned one because it was damaged when we opened the box and didn’t want to go through the hassle again. So we wound up putting a shim underneath it.

This is actually the third one of these I've bought. I like it, and it stores a decent amount of DVDs and Blu-rays well enough, but I don't really like how fragile some of the wood is when screwing the back on. In addition, the lack of any sort of holes in the wood when screwing the back on is a bit frustrating. Still, this thing works.

This is a difficult item to put together and cheaply made. Two of the pieces that hold it together broke as it was being put together. Haven't been able to find replacement parts so one storage unit is still in pieces till I can figure something out.

It’s a perfect shelving unit for you to keep games, etc. However, you better don’t expect too much. The material is so flimsy, the back panel is even just thin card boards. Most of built up are by nails, can’t even use screw as the material is so soft. It’s cheap but no good.

I bought this item open box, so that might have been part of the problem, but the assembly of this tower was much more troublesome than I imagined. Some of the pieces did not fit, and I hadn't of used some wood glue to help secure it, I'm not sure what I'd have. I think it will be a good DVD tower for me, but its one that will require some extra work to maintain.

I been looking for furniture to store my movies and display them in my own living room so I bought this storage cabinet last month at the Best Buy located in Tustin, CA and if you're not ready for expensive furniture storage, this is well worth it. Although the pieces are almost cheap to qualify as a sturdy library, the pieces altogether and the instructions make the construction process easy to handle with simple steps to start your own personal film library. This is worth the investment and be advised, follow the instructions carefully and steps involving putting a couple screws, don't overdo it or else the wood will chip.

Harder to assemble than it looks and not too sturdy.

i hate building furniture. that out of the way this was a very easy build with all the screws and joints displayed in the instructions. but wile building it i... broke it! (the right side panel). a lil wood glue later and it was up and running and it looks very good in my apt.

I was surprised to see how many movies/games fit in this bookshelf. However, I have to admit it's not as sturdy as I thought it would be. I would buy another one if the price was a little lower.

Perfect size, ordered 2. Boxed for great protection. So the one board was cracked in production before being packed. They are great for our use.

I was unsatisfied with the Atlantic - Elite Oskar Multimedia Storage Cabinet - Black/Gray. The quality of the product was poor and the assembly was difficult.

It fits the movies perfect but it is really wobbly until I anchored it to the wall. Could be that it was on carpeting I however expected a little more sturdiness.
