    The End Of The Trilogy

Based on the Ayn Rand novel, Atlas Shrugged takes a look at what America might look like if the government had become an overwhelming monstrosity. For the most part the series was decent enough if of course it was something that you were interested in. I think the main thing that hurt the series was that different actors were cast in basically all the roles for each movie so at least for me it made it a little harder to relate to who was who since it wasn't a familiar face.

In the wake of movies showing their heroes going against large oppressive gov'ts and entities (Divergent / Hunger Games, etc), this story was well ahead of it's time (by nearly 70 yrs), but it still is relative today. The trilogy as a whole is good. My only real criticism is that this has to be the only trilogy in the history of cinema that replaces every key actor from movie to movie to movie. Still worth a watch.

    Present Day of original Book

This is last in the series and re-make of original Ann Rand book. The movie series is a little disjointed due to actor changes for various characters and there are jumps in plot sequence that don't make sense. In general watch it for content/meaning. It is scary to realize this book was written in 1950's and the accuracy of portrayal of present day events!! We should all pay attention to this!!!!

Atlas Shrugged is one of those books that can change minds- it can change lives. Not everyone will agree with it, but many who start out disagreeing with its premise will be swayed by it. My biggest gripe against the movies is that they lack this persuasive power. They are enjoyable to fans of the book- but nonbelievers won't find anything here of any value.

Interesting perspective on what happens when the government takes on more power under the guise of progress. Since it was hard to fund this trilogy in one shot different actors play the same characters In the films.

    Good finale to epic story

We were glad to finally have the last installment of the 3-part movie. It is hard to believe that each of the 3 movies has a different cast. So it takes a little time to adjust once again to the new cast. But in the end it is a good finale to the epic story.

I am such a huge fan of the book and while I do enjoy the movies, I kind of wish they'd used the same actors throughout the entire series. It gets a little confusing at times.

Final movie of the Atlas Shrugged series. As a big fan of the series and book, I was a bit disappointed with the story line and acting.

I bought this after also buying the first two. Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt? is the last of the epic trilogy. I had to go back and watch the first two after watching this one. Ayn Rand is amazing - she must have had a crystal ball since it seems America is creeping into the same elements that Ayn saw many years ago. Although the book is better, the action packed movies are great and well worth buying - must buy all three!

The third movie in the series. Maybe not the best but a must see along with the first two. Gotta watch all three for a great message.

The first two were great, so I was very excited for the third movie. But, they lost the focus and turned it into a love story. Now, I really, really like a good love story, but this wasn't one. Better when they focused on the entrepreneur and human making it better. I said yes I would recommend, as if you have seen the first 2 you really should have closure.

This 3rd and final installment of Atlas Shrugged is uneven, some parts are incisive and other just dumb. The first 2 parts were better and more interesting. I had looked forward to the finale, thinking it should be the most enjoyable, but was disappointed. However, if you saw the first 2 parts, then you should also watch this to tie up loose ends.

Finishes the story, but not as strong as a script as the first movie.

It would have been far better, had the trilogy been able to maintain the same cast of characters. Still - a nice effort all in all, which sticks pretty much to the books. Audio and video on the Blu-ray are fare, with little by way of over-processing noticeable.

It's always stressful when a great book is divided into multiple films because it means having to wait a long time for the next installment. It's bittersweet when the final chapter finally arrives - happy it's here but sad there's no more. This one doesn't disappoint!

The third film was not professional, poorly acted and probably due to a poorly written screenplay, IU read the novel and was excited its was finally going to be filmed, but overall it was a great disappoointment

This movie just felt rushed. While I enjoyed the first movie and somewhat enjoyed the second movie, I did not really enjoy the third movie in the series. The movie felt like it was rushed in production and I found myself not really caring about the characters like I did in the first movie. What really hurt this series was the change in the main cast from one movie to the next. The changing production values also hurt this movie along with the heavy handed approach to the source material. If anything good could be said about this movie was that it ended the trilogy of movies, just not very well.

The film is about tyranny and government control. It shows you what's wrong with our country today. It's a prophetic film from a series of books written in the 1950's by Ayn Rand. She was WAY ahead of her time.

I was really looking forward to the end of the series. This was a bit of a disappointment. I really liked the first two in the series. You just have to watch it to see the rest of the story.
