If you are looking for good studio headphones these are your best option for the $$, diminishing return the higher you go in $$ from here. These are NOT for casual listeners however, they're designed to give a relatively flat frequency response. These are for producers, mixengineers, and others looking to monitor sound for accuracy. If you're into mixing and mastering try these in combination with Sonarworks software, you'll get the flatest sound possible. Even more I like to also use Waves NX software which gives them a simulated room sound. Try all three together and you'll be shocked at how much better your mixes start turning out!
