First, excellent, excellent sound range. Extremely comfortable to wear for extended periods. The included bag and foldable headphones make these headphones a pleasure to carry and use. A convenience control panel is integrated on the left earcup, consisting of controls to manage headset’s internal volume, microphone, and send play/stop, next, and previous commands to the smartphone. In case the battery is low or you are a cords person, an aux jack is available to use the headphones as normal non-wireless headphones, without using a Bluetooth connection. The high-resolution headset wireless capabilities are powered by both Bluetooth and NFC wireless technology. The Bluetooth features the aptX technology which to me seems to improve the quality of the transmitted signal over Bluetooth by a huge extent. The headphones yield a truly stunning music experience when used with my smartphone. The NFC technology makes it easy for the headphone's Bluetooth to connect automatically once it has recognized your smartphone as a friendly device. Tapping any device to the imprinted “N” on the left ear cup is enough to have your devices paired and ready. The Rechargeable battery packed inside the headset has a theoretical standby life of 1000 hours. I can not attest to that but in my usage I have yet to run down the charge, I have used it for 3 days on and off without a need to recharge yet. Some of the best features are the light weight, padding, comfort, foldable design, and finally the unparalleled sound quality is off the chart.

These AT Wireless Headphones are very comfortable and light. You could easily wear them for hours on end. They do have excellent sound which is certainly high quality. Especially in the mids and highs! Very crisp and clear. Very high grade for sure. So far, I've only used them as Bluetooth Headphones through my iMac. I do not have an equalizer being run on my computer at all and with that being said, I have 1 drawback on these headphones,,,which is that I am not receiving the Bass sounds proportionately compared to the excellent mids & highs that I do receive. Don't get me wrong!! The sound I do receive is definitely of high quality that I love and I'm sure if I install an equalizer on my iMac, these headphones will respond excellently I'm very sure. I will be trying these out next while wired with the included cord and I believe they will produce an exacting sound. Bottom line, they are great headphones and have excellent sound! I can use in Bluetooth mode and travel at least 30' through my home even with 3 walls of separation with no cut out. After more trials, I'm pretty sure I will upgrade my score of 4 out of 5, up to a full 5

For a long time I was willing to have the Over-ear Bluetooth model Headphones, because of the feeling of personal experience they are able to give. So I tried this Audio-Technica Headphones, Which by the way, I consider is an excellent brand, and I wasn’t disappointed, they're great!, As soon as I unpacked it, I turned it on and its battery was already charged. The unit is basically intuitive to operate, I moved the switch to the Bluetooth signal position and with my Iphone 6 I looked for the the ATH-SR6BT and that was it. About the quality, the person next to you can barely hear what your listening to when it's at maximum volume. They are very comfortable and I will use them for my upcoming travels. The range connectivity is great too. I left my phone in the kitchen and went to garage, then I noticed that it was still connected to my headphones. They are size adjustable which is great and very confortable. I also love how easy it is to change the volume levels from the headphones instead of using my phone. The sound is very good, I played some distinct music on it to try it out like "edge of heaven" and I even heard some new instruments and sounds I hadn't heard before. There is another function switch where you can control the forward-reverse and play option when you are playing mp3 music through Bluetooth connectivity, so you don’t have to go to the source, either the cell phone or a mp3 player, which I found extremely clever and useful. Another feature that I liked was the input stereo jack, that let you use it as a traditional headphones, even if the battery becomes totally depleted. The battery lasted almost 2 days! I also tried the NFC function with a Samsung Phone, you just put the cell phone close to the NFC symbol that is located on the left side, and that is it, it connected it at once, and it did all the functions. Finally, it has a built in Microphone, so you can place and received phone calls if the headphones are connected it to your cell phone. If you are listening music, it will pause the music and start the phone communication. Overall, it is a great product, wonderful quality sound and excellent presentation.

First off, these are great headphones. Connects easily. They aren’t super loud nor have strong bass, but they deliver quality sound. Nothing bad about these whatsoever. They just need to be priced a little lower.

I am so disappointed with my recent experience with this brand. I had a pair of m50x that lasted almost 7 years. Then I bought these, and the audio jack wants to short out everything. Also, they are unbalanced. Which is terrible when you're studying audio engineering. I tried to contact the company to get them switched and they gave me a pre-typed mass email saying; sorry, no. After begging my best buy store to let me do an exchange way late, they finally let me. AND THE NEW HEADPHONES SHORT EVERYTHING OUT! I've tried probably 15 different chords on about 10 different work stations. $200 headphones that are unbalanced and have set my grades back a little.

These headphones were provided in exchange for my review. I was really looking forward to receiving these as I have a few pair of over-the-ear headphones and a couple of Bluetooth sets that are in-ear, so these would be a first for me. The packaging makes a nice first impression showing that you did not buy a $29 item in a clear blister-pack. The build quality is what I would expect for the price point, not metal, wood and leather, but the painted plastic and padded vinyl parts along with excellent fit and finish make a very respectable showing. While these are billed as “over-the-ear” on Audio-Technica’s website, they do not enclose the complete adult human ear. The ear cushion will rest on your ear lobe, but I did not find the fit uncomfortable. The User Manual that comes in the box is fairly thick, but the content is in ten languages, so in reality it is only 16 pages for English. Usually I don’t even look in the manual for something like a pair of headphones, but I will admit I needed to do so to figure out the “Jog” switch’s functions. The storage/carry pouch is a vinyl-covered, cloth-like material that will protect from scratches and will easily fit in a pocket when using the headphones, but will not provide crush protection like a hard case would. The provided charging cable is a USB to Micro USB cable which is appreciated more than a proprietary connection. There is no AC charging block provided though. Since wireless capability is the main selling point of the SR6BT, my testing consisted of listening to music on my iPhone 6, MacBook Pro, and a television with a third-party Bluetooth adapter attached to it. I also connected it to my 2-channel home stereo with the supplied audio/smartphone cable. When using the audio cable, the headphones sound exactly the same with their power tuned off or turned on, which is not the case with my active noise cancelling headphones made by a company with four letters in their name (their sound quality degrades tremendously when used with the power turned off). Upon my initial use, I was a little underwhelmed with the sound quality of these headphones. You have to realize that everyone’s impression of “great sound” is different and also we differ in our ability to hear different frequencies in the audio spectrum. Using the equalizer function of iTunes on the Mac and an equalizer app on my phone, I was able to dial in a frequency curve to my liking and I am much more impressed with their sound. Killer, boomy bass…no, but I think with a little tweaking they are capable of providing a fairly accurate representation of what the audio engineer on the recording was trying for. The integrated amplifier in my home stereo has only a single bass and single treble control. With the limited control provided, I was not able to make as dramatic an improvement as I could with the graphic equalizer on the other devices. Voice quality while watching television was good with dialog easy to understand. I was able to move all throughout the house (three levels, about 2400 sq. ft., through multiple walls) with no loss of signal and able to control the playback with the Jog switch. When I compare the SR6BT to my other headphones (a couple of them are more than double the price), they hold their own for sound quality, and when you throw in the wireless feature, they are definitely worth the price of admission. I would recommend these at full MSRP if your sound source has an equalizer option, and I feel comfortable saying you will not be disappointed.

I love these headphones. The sound is good, the battery lasts a very long time, and they are very easy to pair with different devices. I have had these for 3 weeks. I don't use them every day but I have probably used them for about 15 hours and still have not needed to charge them. They have several adjustments to make the fit more comfortable. The range is good. I can be on a different level in my home from my device and they still work, they just may skip occasionally. My only wish is that they packed smaller so they were easier to travel with. Other than that, I love them!

First off, they aren't a 5/5 because they aren't perfect. That's NOT a bad thing, just saying it first. I'm relatively new to this. I have a set of Jaybird X3s I use for mowing and workouts but find that they hurt my ears during long term usage. Because of that, I wanted some over the ear headphones. I think the X3s, from a sound quality standpoint, are a good reference point. The type of music I listen to is not typically bass heavy. Rock and alternative is my main area of influence. For that type of music, these headphones are absolutely fantastic. Vocals are crystal clear and music sound quality is excellent. Acoustic sets, for example, sound like you're sitting right next to the band as they perform. Bass is certainly lacking and the highs are a bit too punchy for my tastes, but you have to have trade-offs in a set of headphones priced so affordably. Given the overall sound quality coming out of these things, the trade-offs for me were well worth it. The next set of headphones I found that I truly loved the sound quality of were a set of Bowers & Wilkins that cost twice as much. Bose, Sony, Beats all were lacking in some way or another which made me decide that they just weren't worth the extra money. A reminder. If you're a bass fanatic, these are not for you. You will not like them. They are not without any bass at all, they have a fair amount of it, but for music types which put a lot of emphasis on it these do not serve the songs full justice. I bought these on sale and still cannot believe the sound quality for the price. What an astounding set of headphones. I'd recommend them to anyone assuming your music tastes are in line with mine.

Very Nice Bluetooth NFC Cans with Wired Option

The presentation on opening the product box was done very well and elegant. These cans are very comfortable and should adjust to fit most heads and ears. I connected them very easily with Bluetooth and also Bluetooth via NFC. They sound the same using the wired option whether the power is on or not, that is a nice feature. They do not have the biggest Bass I have heard in headphones, but are sufficient, and can be tuned easily to my taste with an equalizer. I would have liked a hardcase for these phones, but I am usually pretty careful with my headphones in general, so I think they should last quite a while. It did take me a bit to get used to the controls locations. I have not had to charge the battery yet, and have near 20 hours of use with them so far. They do feature a power saving feature that saves battery if you leave them on unattended.

I've delayed a while to post my review because at first I thought these over the ear headphones looked and felt a little cheap... They are mostly plastic and very light weight. But after a while of use both testing and just daily use I have come to love these headphones! Their use and setup is easy and I am able to switch quickly from iPhone to iPad without hassle or long waits for the Bluetooth device to be found. They also have an audio cable with controls so you can use them even when the battery is too low for Bluetooth to work or to use them with an Xbox One controller. I'm no audiophile but for me the audio quality is excellent for TV, movies, all kinds of music and even audio books. These do not have very strong bass which is fine with me as I prefer clear highs and mid range. Also the volume works really well even with Bluetooth. I have found that sometimes I can't get the volume high enough for my tastes on some other Bluetooth speakers and headphones but these are very good in that department. I have really enjoyed using these headphones and my perception of "cheapness" has all but gone away. Given the price however I think that selective use of metal in the hinges/swivel would elevate the premium look and feel of these units. Without any physical changes I think these headphones are a great value at a 20% discounted sales price. Some other considerations... I have a big head, L/XL ball cap for me. These headphones fit perfectly and stay in place even while jogging in place or jumping rope. They also fit very comfortable over my average sized ears. They were conformable and stayed on without feeling tight for 45 minute during an at home exercise session. If you can look past the initial "cheap" impression you might get and the price is not a concern to you then these headphones are highly recommended.

The Audio-Technica ATH-SR6BT Wireless Headphones are great. They are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The sound quality is very good and the battery life seems to be outstanding (I haven't run out of battery after about 5 hours of use). Even though the headphones are not noise-canceling, they do a superb job of blocking out external noises. The controls on the headphones are easy to use (volume, tracks, play/pause). Bluetooth range is good as I can walk about 50 yards away before I start to lose connection. I have not generally been a fan of headphones that go over the top of your head, but these will likely become my goto headphones when traveling. And the headphones include a wire to connect to plane entertainment systems, phones, tablets, etc if you need to.
