Comfy. Bad mic & buzzing noise on BT.

The headphones look good, are not too heavy, and fit well. I enjoy the sound quality particularly using the detachable cable. But bluetooth mode... Non-stop buzzing from the right ear cup. I've had to reset and re-pair them a few times. Disappointing.

Bought these for my daughter who wanted "wireless" headset that would reduce exterior noise - these do the trick. So good in fact, she can't hear me call when I need her.

Great bluetooth and wired headphones all in one. This is not much of an audiophile set of headphones with less enunciation on bass and a lot of treble. The comfort and style are definitely nicer than other headphones.

The design is very good, the headband is very comfortable over long periods, the headphones fold in for extra portability, and it's light weight. This has all the essential features you need for headphones. It has your standard bluetooth controls, 30 hour battery life, a play/pause button on the cord, and is NFC compatible. The sound quality is very good with good highs and mids but almost no bass (some may like that and some may not). These are overall the best headphones I've used so far and would highly recommend it if you want some good audiophile headphones.

Comfortable and Great Sound Quality

I have used other "high-end" earphones over the years but this was my first set up BT (wireless) headphones...and I couldn't be happier. The box and packaging is typical of a higher-end brand and the overall build of the headphones is top-notch. They were fully charged when I opened them up. Setup through bluetooth took about a minute and was very straight forward. Sound quality was very good, many people have commented on the lack of bass, I would disagree. I played all sorts of music and found the sound to be above average compared to my other headphones.
They fit great, and have multiple adjustment angles to make sure they fit a wide range of head sizes and shapes. They are comfortable, I wore them doing yard work and forgot I had them on after a while. They stayed on securely and never gave me any hot spots after long use. Battery life seems really good, I ran them for hours and the percentage barely moved.
I did not try them with making or receiving calls so I can't speak to that usage.
Pros:
Great looking and quality build
Comfort
Sound Quality
Battery Life
Ease of Bluetooth Setup
Cons:
Controls took a bit of getting use to
Lack of a hardshell carrying case
I would certainly recommend these headphones for anyone looking for q good price point that sounds great and is comfortable to wear.

The ATH-SR6BT headphones deliver very nice sound quality, whether rock or classical. Because they do such a good job of shutting out external sound, it's almost as if you are listening in a concert hall. You can hear the highs as well as the lows. Given their bulky and heavy appearance at first glance, they are amazingly comfortable on the head and ears, allowing you to wear them for extended periods. Bluetooth pairing is a snap! These are not low end headphones, and they deliver plenty of quality sound for a reasonable price.
My one complaint is the rather short operating distance from the music source. If you are not wearing/carrying the source, such as iPod or phone. the optimum range is about 25 feet. I would like to use the headphones on my deck, but that is not possible, hence the 4.0 rating. Were it possible to rate 4.5 stars, I would have done so.
If my one issue is not a problem for you, I definitely recommend the ATH-SR6BT headphones.

Keep in mind these are NOT noise cancelling. They are light and comfortable, with easy to learn controls and great sound quality. The construction is well done with metal parts and soft touch materials. The cushioning is just right, and the fit is easy, I like the angles of the hinges which seemed to allow for more "give" when adjusting the fit. I particularly liked the one button control for volume, phone calls, and tracks. Instructions are simple and to the point. Battery life is fantastic! You'll have tunes for days with these, and you can still hear the outside world should you need to. You can pair up to five devices, and that process is easy and quick as well.
The packaging is a little odd, as you'll need to remove a black cloth from the plastic insert to get to the power cable and carrying pouch. That has no bearing on the headphones themselves, but it makes unboxing awkward.

These area decent pair of headphones. Initially upon charging and pairing them, I was frustrated due to user error (me) not fully reading the instructions on how to turn up the volume on the headphones. For some reason it kept changing songs. After an hour I figured out what I was doing wrong. And although I got them turned up to the loudest, I was kinda bummed out there was no real bass. However, I do love the fact that the headphones are Bluetooth & NFC compatible. Call quality was fair. Design wise I do wish the volume +/- rocker was on the right ear cuff along with the audio cord. I did love the fact that the headphones had nice range and I could walk around my apartment comfortably without dropping a call. Another plus is the carrying pouch that was included in the package to keep everything together.

The sound quality is excellent! Bass isn't as much as my son would like, but it's great for me! Charge lasts for a long time too. I also love that they work with a cord as well. These are very great looking and so comfortable! I do love these headphones and would absolutely buy them again!!!

These earphones are a very good value. They are very comfortable, and have excellent audio quality. Battery life is as advertised. Criticism of this model could include the fact that these are not sound cancelling earphones, but one would not expect that for this price range. Also, it does take quite some time to charge the depleted battery. The controls are straightforward, but not necessarily intuitive- I had to read the instructions!
All in all, I am very pleased to be using these earphones. They play my music quite delightfully.

Great for listening to music for hours on end

When it comes to listening to music or pretty much any other form of audio, you have loads of choices to choose from. But nothing beats having the freedom of wireless and not having to worry about a cable getting tangled up with your person or your other stuff. And it helps to have some style to go with it
These ATH-SR6BT Wireless Headphones by Audio-Technica provide a sleek and comfortable design for extended use. They come with a carrying bag (doesn't provide much padding if you're carrying these headphones in a backpack or something similar while in the bag), USB charging cable, an audio cable to connect the headphones to another device via a 3.5mm jack, and not much else.
The battery on these headphones are amazing and I have yet to charge these headphones since I received them about a month ago with intermittent use. I have to charge my cell phone more often than these headphones. So these headphones will work great for those people that need music to be playing for hours on end and not having to worry about charging them.
The two issues I have with these headphones might just be related to my specific set. When I first received the headphones, I was having trouble using the NFC interface to tap them with my phone and connect. After that failed, I tried connecting them via Bluetooth on my mobile device and that proved challenging as well. Eventually I was able to connect the headphones to my phone and that was the end of it.
The other issue I have with these headphones is the way they are stored. When the headphones are in use, they are locked into place and the only way that they can be adjusted for storage is by pressing a button on either side of the headphone which allows for that specific side to fold. The thing is, if you're in a hurry, you might accidentally pinch your finger in between the headphone and the rest of the frame. For some people, the locking mechanism might be nice, but I find this to be annoying.
Overall, the long lasting battery and the sleek design that these ATH-SR6BT Wireless Headphones provide, make a great addition for anyone looking for long lasting, wireless headphones.

Headphones come with a nice carry bag to hold the headphones, charger cable and phone cable connector. After charging the headphones via a USB connection one simply has to go to their Bluetooth phone settings and select the headphones listed to be connected wirelessly. Controls are located conveniently on the headphones to power on/off Bluetooth and to change song selection. A cable is included to connect your phone and headphones to provide controls like one is used to having on a pair of earbuds. Most importantly headphones are very comfortable on the ear and not too heavy. Sound quality is nice. I recently used these on a road trip for several hours and it was great to enjoy my music without disturbing others in the car. These would be a great option for a student studying in the library or their dorm room.

Better Options for the Price

These are (mostly) a great sounding set of head phones with little else to offer. The sound quality is very good, especially in wired mode, but should be considered very neutral sounding. There honestly isn't much bass bump on tap here and they can sound harsh at times, with a seemingly treble and mid skewed sound profile. True "audiophiles" may appreciate this, as it tends to not color the sound in my experience, as compared to others in this range. This may not be desirable to most, however, as boosted bass seems to be the popular thing these days. Also, those expecting any level of noise isolation will be severely disappointed. I've used these on a plane and they offer very little in the way of isolation; less than I expected for being full over the ear cans. Granted, they aren't advertised as noise isolating in the description, but don't expect to be pleasantly surprised because they won't deliver.
One positive to note here is that they work in passive mode with the included cable, meaning you can still them if they run out of battery power. This is a huge plus in my book.
All in all, I'd consider these a very good option for those considering themselves audiophiles who want mostly uncolored sound, but for the general/causal listener, there are better options for the price.

I'm a big fan of Audio Technica's ATH-M50 wired headphones, so I was really excited to try these out.
As far as comfort is concerned, these are a hit. They're lightweight and have good clamping force without being too tight. The M50s are physically tiring after a short time, but these are honestly a pleasure to wear. I find the earcups to be comfortable and they breathe a little more than one would expect.
The sound is a bit anemic and lacking in the low-end. Playing with equalization helps but tends to make the low-midrange sound bloated. High frequencies sound good for bluetooth headphones, and even better than some wired headphones I've used. Overall, though, there's just something missing. Music seems to sound very clinical.
Build quality is nice. They're mostly plastic but have metallic outer cups. They also hold in sound well and don't bleed much, so these would be a good choice for an office or public transit. They feel like they'll hold up if they're taken care of. I wouldn't feel comfortable tossing them around much.
I do not like the single rocker switch control. You tap it to change volume or hold it to change the track. I often find myself accidentally changing tracks.
I was not able to get NFC pairing to work (yes, I had it enabled on my phone) so I can't comment on that. They were easy to pair the old-fashioned way though.
These are good, but not great, headphones for general music and podcasts, but if you're looking for lots of bass or a lively sound signature you may want to look elsewhere.
