I love these headphones

Short synopsis:
The ATH-SR6BT is the best bang for your buck premium wireless headphones available. Audio-Technica spends most of their money on the headphones themselves, and not marketing. Phenomenal all-around wireless headphones that should be strongly considered.
A little more detail:
I have three pairs of audiophile grade headphones that are all wired and for home use. I used the ATH-SR6BT at the gym wirelessly with my iPhone 6, and I used them with the detachable aux cable (3.5mm) with my Nintendo Switch.
If you own an iPhone, like I do, you WILL NOT experience the highest possible wireless audio quality. This is because iPhones do not support Bluetooth aptX. As an aside, The Galaxy S8 DOES support Bluetooth aptX.
With that being said, these headphones WILL sound better than most wireless headphones being sold at Best Buy or the Apple store due to the quality of the components. In addition, the design is high quality and minimalistic.
When it comes to headphones, the size of the driver(the small speaker in the earcup) and the quality of the components are what matters. The size of the drivers in this pair of headphones is 45mm, which is a good size. The leather earpads are easy to remove and clean which is important if you are going to use them when at the gym. I did not think I would use the microphone function of these headphones, but I did end up using it and was able to answer a phone call without having to shout since the built-in microphone is superb.
I did not test the claimed 30-hour long battery life, however I can say I have extensively used these headphones wirelessly and have not had to charge them yet. In addition, you can use thee headphones with a wired connection if you don’t have any battery left.
One con I will mention is if you have large ears, like I do, you may need to change the ear pads or be comfortable with your ears not fitting inside the earcup. I will note that I have this issue with most headphones unless the earcups are oversized.
Audio Technica is well known for having quality headphones. The premium design put into the ATH-SR6BT along with the premium components makes them a great buy. I am glad they are part of my headphone collection.

These headphones were real easy to pair and use right away. The sound quality was good, I had no complaints. The two biggest things I liked was they were very lightweight and comfortable. Also, I could also hear outside noise while listening to my music, so I wasn't paranoid that I would not hear a car coming or a person trying to talk to me.

I've been an AT fan for years. I've always felt they make a spectacular product - from their turntables to their microphones - they always deliver an amazing sound. When Best Buy gave me the opportunity to review their latest headphones, I jumped at the chance.
The ATH-SR6BT doesn't disappoint.
The headphones offer a lot of adjustment to fit a wide range of head sizes and shapes. The adjustment offers very fine movements which don't require a lot of force yet stay locked in place. You can tell this is a quality product before you even play a song. They have a solid feel unlike some of the other over-the-ear options.
Pairing to my iPhone and MacBook are easy and work as expected.
Sound quality over Bluetooth was amazing. There was fantastic seperation between right and left channels which allowed me to hear parts of songs I hadn't really noticed before. The clarity was magical. I felt the lows were extremely focused and not artificially boosted. There were certain songs where I wish I had more, but that's my preference. Other songs where there was a driving bass line or kick drum it was right where I wanted it to me.
Vocals were clear. Highs were crisp. Again, everything seemed right where you'd want it. No need to make any adjustments. I found myself listening to songs louder than I normally would because there weren't any harsh tones - just a nice warm mix.
For fun I hooked up the included 3.5mm cable to my MacBook and listened to a few songs that were Apple Lossless and I couldn't notice any major differences between that and listening to the same over Bluetooth. That said, I'm not an audiophile by any stretch - I just enjoy listening to music.
Summary - these are fantastic headphones and won't disappoint.

Good Sound and Quality but not Best At Price Point

The Audio Technica bluetooth headphones have good sound quality, good battery life, and are comfortable to wear. They are very much a servicable pair of headphones. They are easy to setup and connect to your bluetooth media player of choice and they stay connected without unexpected cut outs.
What doesnt set them apart is the sound quality and features at the advertised price point of $199. There are other quality headsets that may offer better sound that can be had around this price point either at retail price or on sale that should be explored as well. However, if this headset price is reduced or on sale, it would receive a strong recommendation.
Overall, pleased with this headset and you will not be disappointed.

The new Audio-Technica ATH-SR6BT I received from Best Buy has one of the better sound qualities compared to the ones I have previously used. I was surprised the bass controls are better than my Sennheiser. I am very glad they've incorporated a 3.5mm connection in case Bluetooth connection is not available or you prefer a better sound quality. It comes with 45mm dynamic driver, one button remote, and the headphone is very comfortable.

I own several pair of headphones, and these are the most comfortable ones I've tried. The headphones have several flex points which give a very secure and comfortable fit. The sound is top notch and controls on the device are easily accessible. I have not used them long enough to verify the battery life, but if they last as advertised, these are among the top in the market.

First, I am comparing this other high end products. The connection and operation is pretty straight forward and the sound is quite pleasant. While is is less expensive than the ones that I have been using, it is lacking noise cancellation. The volume switch is combined with the tracking switch which was a bit confusing at first.
The sound is acceptable but lacks deep bass and high end bliss. The wireless capabilities work well and overall, this is a very nice option for the price.
Furthermore, these fold up very nicely compared to others. This is really nice for a full backpack. They are also extremely comfortable and I was able to wear them for a full eight hour workday.

Included- 1 pair of wireless bluetooth headphones, 1 user manual, 1 USB charging cord, 1 detachable cable for smartphones, and a pouch.
Pairing the headphones via Bluetooth to your device will be simple. it allows up to 8 different devices. The headphones fold to be more compact, but that could be improved a little bit. They are not quite as compact as I would like to see. The drawstring pouch is a nice accessory for travel or storage. There is plenty of room for the headphones and both cables. The headphones can be used to listen to music as well as talk on the phone. There is a built in microphone. There is an auto power off function so that the battery does not completely drain. It will turn off automatically after 5 minutes of not being connected.
The headphones are comfortable but would be nice to have slightly larger earpods. I have small ears and they barely fit around them. Anyone with larger ears is going to have a rough time with them fitting properly or comfortably. The sound is really good. They're used primarily for listening to music and they are nice for that. They are a good quality. They are definitely nicer than a standard pair of ear buds.

Love these earphones. The sound is fantastic. They are the most comfortable pair of earphones I have ever had. Adjusts to fit your head perfectly. You could easily forget you even have them on. Love the way they fold and you can put them into the small cloth bag that comes with them.

The look and feel of these headphones is very nice. I would say the connection is standard and the quality of the sound is above average. I did feel like the volume through Bluetooth was too quiet but I figured out that the default wireless volume was probably about 50 percent. The only issue I had was getting it to connect to a new device with another device that it had previously connected to was near it. It seemed like it or my computers were confused. Once I turned on just the PC that I was connecting it then the connection was quick and sounded great. The battery does seem to hold a charge for a very long time. I did not have it die on me during listening when it had a full charge. I do think the connector to charge it is in a better location than some other brands. That makes it easy to use and connect.

Good Wireless, better corded headphones

I really liked the sound and performance from these headphones, but when used in corded mode (it comes with the cord) they were excellent! They came in a pretty solid box with a material covered holder for the headphones. In the box is a drawstring pouch, a USB charging cable, a cord for connecting to devices hardwired. The headphones fold for portability. The controls on the bottom of one of the earphones seems somewhat fragile but did it's job. I was able to connect via bluetooth pretty quickly and they had a good range. The sound was really good in this mode. But when I used them with the wired connection to an MP-3 player they became excellent. Sound and detail were much more robust. These are really good headphones that worked well are worth the price! Good Shopping!

I've been using these headphones for about 4 days now. I've used them with my iPhone and iPad, and for music, podcasts, and an online training class I'm taking for work.
These paired very quickly and easily with both the phone and tablet. They also arrived fully charged, so I was able to use them right away. For the podcasts and training classes the sound was very clear and crisp. For music, deep rich sounds that are just fantastic.
Comfort wise these are incredible. I've worn these for 2 hours straight for the training classes with no discomfort at all. I'm certain they could be worn all day with very little or no discomfort.
I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for high quality sound and maximum comfort.

The build quality in my opinion is fantastic. They are comfortable and easily adjusted but the earpiece(s) are a tad heavy I assume due to the magnets and electronics built in. It charged quickly and was very easy to pair using bluetooth. I did not try NFC. Playing music or movies the earpiece controls worked great and they sounded fantastic. The nice thing is you can use these with non bluetooth devices, if in a place you cant use bluetooth (as on a plane) or if battery charge is used up - just by attaching the provided cable. They fold nicely and fit easily into the provided pouch. I was surprised it does not have active sound deadening but this isnt that big a deal for me.

I have numerous bluetooth headphones and these are middle of the range for me. The sound is good, they are comfortable to wear, the bluetooth connection works quickly, and the controls are easy to use. They do not produce base as well as other headphones I have but the highs and mids are good.

A great pair of headphones for under 200 bucks.
True sound across the spectrum if you like the real sound of the music without some silly added bass that distorts the music. They are very pure and sound great with all genres and incorporate the correct amount of bass which is contrary to some reviews.
Extremely comfortable for the long run with great build materials. They are light weight but very sturdy. The range is fantastic, more than stated, but I didn’t get quite the battery usage as stated. Save the money on noise cancelling because I don’t hear anything outside when using them.
I did not buy them for phone usage because when I wear them I’m not interested in phone callls so l don’t know the quality of that aspect of the headphones.
If you are looking for a good solid pair of headphones with a high quality true sound field then give them a try. For $149 they are hard to beat.

What I would expect from Audio-Technica

I love my music! I listen at home, at work, in the car, where ever I go. I've a few sets of high quality headphones but they are all missing one key thing. Bluetooth! Especially since the iPhone 7 dropped the built in headphone jack and you have to use a dongle to plug in it was only a matter of time for me to get a pair of Bluetooth headphones.
Up steps Audio-Technica with their latest offering the ATH-SR6BT wireless over the ear folding headphones. I've got some earbuds, and a few on the ear headphones but really needed a good over the ear set. I couldn't wait to get the box open when it was finally delivered. Not only do they have a stunning look but the sound is incredible. The build is solid and not flimsy. The padding (on top and on the ear cups) is soft and comfortable and the ear cups adjust up and down so you can fit it to your head.
In the box you get the headphones, an USB charging cable, a soft carrying bag and just in case you don't have a Bluetooth device or prefer to use a jack they have you covered with that including a detachable headphone cable. The detachable cable does have a limited control button but also includes a microphone.
The controls are pretty straight forward although it took me a while to get used to the playback and volume button, more on that later. It was easy to set up. On the right ear cup there is only a simple on/off switch doubles as a pairing button. Oddly the multi-function battery life/charging indication/BT pairing light is on the left ear cup which is counter-intuitive, at least for me. I'd power on and look for the light near the switch... oops... not there. Also on the left ear cup is the USB charging port, the detachable cable jack and a multi-function button. My iPhone quickly discovered the headphones and I was ready to go.
I did have problems at first getting use to the multi-function button. You press it straight down to start and stop playback or to pickup or hangup a phone call. Unfortunately I can't find a mic anywhere on the headphone itself so you will need to use the detachable cable with mic or speak directly into the phone but if you are using the detachable cable it has a pickup and answer switch as well... things that make you go HMMMMM! Now the part that tripped me up (but I am getting used to it). Press the switch up and volume increases... but if you hold it too long it goes to the next track... frustrating! Press the switch downward and the volume decreases... but if you hold it too long it rewinds... also frustrating! The good news is that after some practice you'll figure out that it's a difference between tapping the switch in one direction or the other or sliding and holding in one direction or the other. Also it would have been nice to have a hard case for these since they are not cheap headphones and might suffer some damage if tossed into a backpack.
I haven't had them long enough to test battery life but they do have an automatic power off after 5 minutes not being connected.
I'm extremely impressed by the quality of the sound. Good rich tones. However, with some music I do like a bit more punch so a bass boost would have been a welcome add but I can always use the equalizer setting on the phone.
Footnote... I missed the fact that it also has NFC connectivity if your smartphone supports that feature.
So, would I recommend these to friends... heck yeah! Plenty to love about these and worth every dollar!
Pros -
+ quality build and style
+ somewhat folding
+ comfortable to wear
+ sound is clear and crisp
+ price point for the features
Cons -
- light on wrong cup (as far as I'm concerned)
- headphones don't have a mic built in and must use detachable cable
- multi-function buttons can be confusing (at first)
- no bass boost
- no hard case

This is my very first pair of over the ear wireless headphones. I use them for my daily commute. They sound great, look very stylish, and are very comfortable. The battery life is amazing. I've been using them for a week now and they are still at 80%. The controls are straight forward and easy to use. It was fast and easy to connect to my smartphone. They come with an aux cord with mic, charging cable, and leather pouch to carry it all. At this price point, these headphones are an excellent value. I would highly recommend them.

The Audio Technica ATH-SR6BT are a great pair of headphones. They sound very crisp and clear without any booming bass. Watching movies, listening to music or podcasts is a delight. They just sound good. If you are looking for headphones that are more bass-heavy then these headphones aren't for you. These headphones are for more true hi-res sound.
The build quality is very nice. Definitely not cheap feeling. Reminiscent of the Bose QC 35's.
One area that could use improvement is the material on the ear cup pads. Something a bit softer would be nice. I found my ears fatiguing a little.
If you're looking for some great headphones that have true sound reproduction these are for you. You won't be disappointed.
