This is a very nice turntable for a rather low price. I haven't tried the USB connection for ripping vinyl to mp3s, so I can't comment on that feature, but the turntable works great!

Turntable works well but the software is for XP, really, and you can't get it to link with WIN 10.

Be advised that this product does not copy directly to CD as advertised. It does NOT have a CD as stated in the description. The false marketing of this turntable made my purchase a hassle, but for regular use it works just fine.

I saw the price of the other version (without USB) reach 99 so I called bestbuy to purchase but it wasn't available so instead they gave me this USB version for the same price. Great deal. I bought it hooked up to my marantz receiver. Went online to read about the line/phono output, subwoofer output from reciever etc., took me few hours but once I figured out, it's been great. This is my first turntable. I'm glad I read reviews from here, Amazon, turntable blogs and few audiophile sites before buying it. I'm looking to add a behringer or Pyle phone pre amp to boost up the sound even more. It's not necessary but just for curiosity sake.

Note that you cannot use BOTH the turntables built-in phono preamplifier and an external phono preamplifier at the same time. If you are looking to boost the sound, select an external phono preamplifer that has more gain than the built-in preamplifer, which is 36 db. Choose a model that provides at least 6 dB more gain to notice any increase in volume. To bypass the turntable's built-in phono preamplifier, place the preamp selector switch on the rear of the turntable in the PHONO position. AudioTechnica

    Good Unit for the Price

I've only had the turntable for a little over a day but so far I like it, although I'm a little disappointed in the seeming flimsiness of the unit as a whole. The needle arm *seems* a bit on the easy to break side as do the buttons. The case also seems less than sturdy, but none of those issues affect the sound quality at all. If you take care of the turntable you will be happy with the sound that comes out of it. For $129 the sound quality is excellent. I've put on quite a few old records (including a 1967 Beatles album) and they all sound fantastic. Way better than I expected to get with a turntable at this price. Overall the sound quality tops every other concern I had about the turntable and I would recommend it if you are looking to spin up your records again but don't need or want an expensive turntable but still want quality sound, this is a really good buy.

Got this as a replacement for Crosley which I got as a gift. The other record player was scary to use because it made my new records skip. I wanted to listen to my records without destroying them. I decided on this one even though it didn't come with speakers. This is super easy to use! I decided I didn't want to spend money on new speakers so I got myself a $25 Bluetooth transmitter to use one of my Bluetooth speakers. Works perfectly!

Turntable doesn't turn. I followed the directions. Software seems not to work with Windows 10. Received on 6/17/16. Now 7/2216. Past 15 days to return. DON'T BUY IT.

If the turntable does not turn after the start button is pressed, verify that you have installed the drive belt correctly and that the AC power outlet the turntable is connected to is a working outlet. The drive belt comes pre-installed on the aluminum record platter. Install the platter by placing it on the center spindle, then use the red ribbon that is taped to the top side of the platter as an aide to pull the drive belt over the gold colored motor pulley located in the upper LEFT corner of the turntable at about the 10 o`clock position. The belt DOES NOT go around the white post located on the right side of the turntable at about the 2 o`clock position. AudioTechnica
