    I bought this unit as a backup to my current AT Cartridge, which came with my turntable. It works fine, and I'll use the new cartridge eventually when my current one needs replacing, probably within a year. This cartridges are certainly out of the class of the very expensive $400-$1,000 units, but if you want good sound from a $250 turntable, they are hard to beat.

    This cartridge has a well balanced sound. It really brought my old Technics Sl-D3 back to life. Can't beat it for the money.
