I was going to a long trip and decided to buy a noise cancellation headphone for flight and buses. Saw Bose QuietComfort 20 first, but $300 price tag is just way too expensive. Through some research, found this Audio Technica headphone and decided to give it a try. Really love this product, it's great quality with working noise cancellation and very low price!! Highly recommended.

I was looking for a noise-cancelling headphone for non-frequent but long flights. These worked very well and felt comfortable even while trying to sleep. Earbuds are definitely better than over-the-ear headphones when trying to sleep with your head tilted to the side. The case is simple but good, better if there was a secondary smaller pouch to hold the various earbuds.

Great value for the price, this product delivers good noise cancelling at a great price. Not as good as the Bose NC HP, but you also don't pay more than $300. So, you get 2/3 of the performance for 1/3 of the price. I use it to study at home and while reading in public places (like Starbucks), so it allows me to focus.
I would recommend them to a friend that wants good noise cancelling, but has a modest budget.

These in-ear headphones have the excellent Audio Technica dynamic range and quality you would expect. The surprise is how good the noise cancellation is - it is immediate and effective. The foam tips are a great solution to the silicone tips that always fall out. I use them weekly on flights and they make listening to my music or videos in flight an ease. I highly recommend these.

As a college student, I was looking for a quality set of ear buds for multiple uses: listening to music on campus, canceling noise while studying, and using a mic for video games. This was the perfect set of earbuds for all three uses without breaking my wallet and without giving up too much on quality. Love these!

I bought these to wear while flying on a small private plane. Works ok. I would rather wear these than the bulky ones they make you wear. I created an adaptor so it will work with the plane's comm system. I spent $30 on the adaptor and it got the job done. The sound quality is not the best compared to other noise cancellation units but you can't beat the price of this one. The alternative is the $299 Bose QC15. I don't fly that much to justify the cost. Overall, I am happy with this one.

This was my 2nd pair to order(but didn't make it). The 1st pair are perfect. Got them for a Deal of the Day price. Provide great sound whether the noise cancellation is active or not. Mic works great as well as the other controls for my android phone music player.

If you are looking for an alternative to the big Bose over the head noise cancellation headsets for taking calls on the move and listening to music, this headset is a reasonable choice. The sound quality is good, but a notch below the Bose over the head ones. The battery box is small and can be clipped but the way the two cables come out makes it hard to choose where to clip and not snag the cables while moving. The volume control wheel on the box is hard to operate and definitely inferior to placing them next to the mic control on the cable. It is also easy to hang up on the call if you are trying to move the cable around and accidentally grab the mic button. All in all, a reasonable headset with some minor annoyances.

great noise cancelling headphone. I have the over the ear headphones from the same company and i bought this because they are obviously less bulky.
one thing to keep in mind is that in order to achieve the best possible noise cancelling experience, you need to use the foam tips provided as the rubber tips, while they help they are not as good in sealing your ear canal

I bought a pair like these as a gift for my wife. After using them on a trip I liked them so much I bought a pair for myself to use at work. The open office atmosphere can get noisy at times and the noise canceling in-ear buds help to keep me focused on work.

Used them on a 15-hour airplane flight. Took some experimentation to get the right size ear bud seal, but once installed, 90% of the airplane noise disappeared. Audio quality is quite good good - better than most of my previous earphones. After about 25 hours of usage, battery is still going strong.

Sound quality on airplane was excellent when connected to onboard entertainment system. Even without audio it easily dampened the typical sounds of travel - engine roar, crying babies, etc. allowing for focus on reading and sleeping.

This is an overall good product, but unless you clip it to your belt/clothes at all times, the battery pack is heavy and falls off the desk. It is also clumsy for use on a treadmill, bike, elliptical, etc. The power source needs to be closer to the plug in.
Still deserves 4 stars.

If you don't need or want the flashiness of over the ear or in-ear headphones and are looking for a great set of headphones to travel with, these are a great option. They use one replaceable AAA battery - some people may prefer an integrated, rechargeable battery. I'm kind of indifferent - you can always get a rechargeable AAA if that is your preference.

So these are my second pair of AT earbuds, the first ones were the CKM55 which i still have and love more. I love my CKM55 more because of the simple reason they sound better, but that does not mean the quiet point are no good. I love the QuietPoints for different reasons, reasons such as the noise cancellation they provide for the price when compared to the cliche rival which sells theirs for $300, the ease of use when compared to the typical cans with noise cancellation which are bulky and are a pain to travel without babying them, I also love the fact that the QPs when compared to my CKM55 actually have a multi functional mic(the mic can be used to change tracks), and volume control which are great features that I craved for.
And this is why I use my CKM when in leisure and QPs when travelling.
The QP sound good but not great and I personally think AT could have def made these better and probably should have and same goes for the build quality of the cables coming from the QP on/off box, a little care is needed with that when using or keeping in bag while travelling.
The value for money with these earbuds is just exceptional as there are no earphones which provide noise cancellation for this price and sound good aswell.
The near perfect AT QPs are def to be tried if you want the bang for the buck with noise cancellation and good sound combination.
PS. They come with a AAA battery unlike any other manufacturer I know of, the little details do matter.

I like these so well that when I lost my first pair I bought a 2nd pair the minute I got near a Best Buy. They are good at the standard kind of noise cancellation - airplane engine, some noise at work, etc. They do not cancel out screaming babies or annoyingly loud adults. But no earbuds do that and even over the ear headphones do not cancel everything. The sound quality is good, not excellent. I bought a "sound design" graphic equalizer app for my IPhone/Ipad and having programmed that am much happier with the sound quality. Compared to the more than 3 x the cost Bose, I really love these and recommend them.
