Way over priced not seeing any benefits

I was told by a Best Buy employee that my HDMI cable, going from my reciever to my projector was having a handshake issue and should be upgraded to this insanely priced AudioQuest cable. This meant pulling out my old 33 ft, $150 cable from the ceiling and walls and running this new $800 cable through the same spots. Fishing it through the walls and ceilings took several hours. Finally got it all hooked up and it didn't solve the problem. It ended up being a defective HDMI port it the projector. I wasn't about to rip the HDMI cable back out of the walls to fish the old one back through so now I'm stuck with one that cost over 5 times what my original HDMI cable cost. And it was just fine. I see no benefits to this AudioQuest Cherry Cola HDMI cable over my old Rocketfish cable, which is now just sitting in a closet. I used Monoprice cables before that and they worked fine as well. I saw no visual differences and heard no audible differences between any of the cables.

Must have for quality 8k video. Pricey, but makes the most of expensive 8k televisions.

Had another brand HDMI cable but no HDR due to length of the cable run. I purchased this cable because my in-wall run was over 25ft and you loose HDR with regular cables after 15ft. Expensive for cable but Very satisfied with the purchased. Picture quality is amazing.

Total waste of money. Not used in the end. A much cheaper item used. Very bad advice from the media consultant.

    UNRELIABLE, NOT WORTH IT

UNRELIABLE. $700 and nearly 3 years later it stopped working. PLUS had these run thru ceiling / walls, so will be several hundred dollars to open walls, extract, install, patch, repaint, have tech reprogram related electronics; several days of vendors where we’ll be stuck at home. This fiasco NOT WORTH IT.
