I bought the short version so I didn't have cables cluttering up my entertainment center. I bought two. I could use one, the other was not long enough and the next size up would be too long. How about 4.0. I would pay the extra $ for the extra .6

I thought to myself "hey if I'm spending $4k on a tv, what's an extra $200 for a cable?" I tried a standard amazon hdmi cable versus this on a blu ray player and noticed only a small difference. I have not tried this on a 4K blu ray player so maybe that will do justice.
