This DAC sounds like a $500 DAC. It is a warmer characteristic. It also pumps a bit more power into your cans. I like the dragon fly red over the dragon fly black.

The DragonFly DAC makes it super easy to run music on my computer or phone through my 2-channel stereo system. Hook-up was a breeze. The sound quality is fantastic. What’s not to like?

Dragonfly now offers 3 devices . If you’re just looking for the least expensive the Black is the way to go . A quality product . Just wish they gave you advice on what adapter to purchase while buying it . Not after you get product or look it up online. Delivery was on time .

I have several DAC that I use. I love the portability of this DAC. If you're looking for great sound at an affordable price, then I would highly recommend this DAC.

I purchased this a few months ago specifically for travel. With this DAC I’m able listen to high quality music on Tidal on the go.

Big improvement in sound quality from a Samsung Galaxy phone. Provides enough power to drive Focal Clear headphones.

I'm glad my search to amplify my sound through my listening equipent was upgraded through this little device. It works great with my laptop, and makes anything on my already good sounding lq v series phone, sound phenomenal. If you have the means to purchase this product, do it. It is a GREAT investment, especially if you really want to have more depth to your music. Thanks!

My setup - iPhone 12 max pro and Bowers & Wilkins wired over the ear headphones ( probably more than 5 yrs old), Hi Res streaming thru Qobuz Audio quality - in short, night and day difference. Great amplification, soundstage and imaging. Even very bad quality recording sounds somewhat decent. After this no going back to Apple mini dongle/DAC.

I'm a former DJ and lifetime music lover so over the last 40 plus years I have brought thousands of dollars of sound equipment. I have a really nice studio in my home office the one thing I have never owned was a DAC thought it was all hype, but man was I wrong it has brought my music to life beyond my wildest dreams.

Excellent little DAC. This DAC sounds great and with the addition of MQA makes this a keeper.

I bought the DragonFly Red to use with my Sennheiser HD6XX headphones to play Tidal MQA tracks from my Galaxy Note 8. Sound quality compared to the stock 3.5mm jack on the phone is incredible. I would certainly recommend this product. I only wish it was around $50 cheaper. You will need a an adapter if you use this with your phone.

I am an audiophile and had no idea that this tiny little USB device would make such an enormous difference. I love this thing!

I use this in my laptop for music production and listening. It's powerful enough to run my AKG K702's or my Sony MDR 7506. Transient response time and bass reproduction is greatly improved via this little DAC. It sounds as good as my Audient ID 22 sound interface and other professional studio interfaces i've used in the past.

I have an older amp without a built in DAC. This made a huge difference. It took a little time to warm up, but once it did the sound separations and improvements were significant. I'll have to upgrade to a new amp someday, but I won't be spending $1,000 or more as soon as I thought. Also added a sub to round out the sound. Amazing difference.

I was a bit skeptical about how good this small DAC/Amp could be - I'm used to headphone amps that have their own batteries and were five times this thing's size. However, it's no joke, this amplifies fine and provides crystal clear stereo sound that goes way beyond the built-in sound chips in most mobile devices/laptops. However, after using this for a week it stopped working and I had to return it. It does get quite warm to the touch when in use, and I suspect something inside literally burned itself out. Maybe I just got a defective one though. Sounded fantastic while it still worked though!

I’m an audiophile and this product blew me away. The DAC allow my music to be louder, more pronounce, with higher level of detail. It gave a nice separation of instruments. Not only that, but it also turned harsh vocals and muddy bass into clear accurate highs and nice and punchy, yet tight bass. 12/10

Music played though my computer, while listening through my headphones never sounded better. The DragonFly converts the music from digital to audio sound so that the music can be heard the way it was originally made.

Powerful but wish it came with an online equalizer. For the price it makes it louder but wish I there were more options

This DAC/Headphone amp really makes a difference in how digital music sounds. I expected a difference based on a friend's word of mouth, but I was pretty blown away how much better this made by V-MODA Remix sound, and it already sounded pretty good. I've been using it on my computer as well, with similar results.
