I purchased this to connect our iMac to our 4K TV in our studio with an adapter. Was looking to get a monster cable brand but saw that this has now replaced it at Best Buy and it looked really good. And so far everything is working great and it is sending the high Quality Video Feed that we needed and HD audio without any issues. So, no need to return it, and for me no need for getting anything else, because it works great!!!

Great picture quality for my Big screen TV. They’re expensive. But so worth it.

8’ Length is a perfect length that I needed and picture and audio are great.

So far so good. It's actually odd to me how many times lightning storms have taken out my 4K cables. I understand the physics (pass a wire thru a magnetic field and produce current, or in lightning's case the magnetic plasma comes you in an invisible voltage SPIKE!) I learned this in grad school circa 1980 (read before we had surge protectors) while using an Apple II+ to code my thesis research. If you even HEARD thunder, you had to UNPLUG the Apple II+ or risk blowing a $50 power supply. Later in life, I was working outside mounting a metal strap (in thunder storm) and a lightning bolt hit the the top of a pine tree 150 feet away. The tree top literally EXPLODED as its sap turned to steam in the twinkling of an eye showering me with bark, pine needles and cones. The JOLT knocked me off a ladder and the guys at the airport observing me thought I was struck with lightning. Yep, in retrospect, it was a boneheaded thing to be doing (basically standing on an lightning rod aluminum ladder screwing in a Simpson Cross Tie) but hey, I've learned a lot by doing things wrong, it may be that the purpose of my life is to serve as a warning to others. RFI shielding matters.

This cable is a necessity for 4K picture quality. If you subscribe to a cable or satellite service, this cable is recommended to replace the standard HDMI cable that was most likely provided with your receiver. If the picture quality does not improve, you may need to return your receiver to your provider and request a 4K model.
