We never bought expensive cables before, and we are hoping they are worth it. The salesman recommended them, and we trusted his advice. We didn't want to go cheap on the most minor part of the setup we have. -A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.-

I Hate Dealing with EXCESS Cables. If you have a short run, buy a short cable of best quality for the same price as a lesser quality longer cable. Since prices increase with length and quality, why would you do anything else??

A decent HDMI cable at a decent price. Works well and hasn't fried on me yet.

Much more expensive cables. The tech guy recommended this as enough for the other technology we used and what is available (i.e., via cable signals). The picture is perfect on the Ultra TV I bought with this so the $50 saved was Ok with me.

I bought a new 4K Blu-ray and was told I needed to upgrade the HDMI cable. This was on the shelf and was as cheap as the no name and had a decent rating. I will say, it works fine, signal gets through and looks great.

Bought these cords for my new 4k Master Series Sony OLED. The picture is very sharp with these compared to the other ones that I was using. A must for your 4K OLED TV.

So, purchased a new computer for the daughter. It needed a HDMI monitor...old monitor wouldn't work. Went to store and had to order the monitor I wanted as the store did not have it in stock. Monitor was shipped, did not have a HDMI cable with it so had to purchase one. This cable was recommended. This one was way too short so we had to return it. I am sure this cable worked fine...I will never know. But it was definitely way too expensive.
