I bought a new Sony Bravia Ultra HD 4K TV. I thought all HDMI cables were high end. After the tv was set up and the picture was blurry I went back to Best Buy where I bought the TV and the media specialist said I need a 4K HDMI cable. He recommended this one. I went home, plugged it in as directed, and it ended up clearing up my picture. Thanks Best Buy for another great TV buying experience !

This HDMI cable was what I needed at the length I needed it. I typically get my electronics and peripherals at Best Buy because of acceptable quality and immediate availability. I probably could have gone online to save a dollar or two, but for this trip I wanted the cable without waiting two days! If the gold plate is available and pricing isn’t stupid high, go for it (as in this cable). But for anything under 8 feet don’t pony up the extra for gold. Length is the main issue. Anything over 15 feet requires a Hercules strength signal (or Incredible Hulk if you’re more into Marvel than Greek Mythology). First I opt for the right price, then the right length, and last consideration is gold. Best Buy spends money keeping things in stock for their customers and does a good job of price-matching even against online retailers. This was what I needed, and I was willing to part with a couple of dollars to get it immediately and keep my local store in business. Otherwise, HDMI is HDMI!

Installs easy. It's a short cord so the wire is easy to hide. Works great for 1080p HD TV.

I have learned that having a gold tipped HDMI cable is the best way to go. This particular one was priced really well and has provided great picture quality.

I had recently bought a brand new 4K TV and saw that it didn't come with a 4K cable, so I picked up this one and the shorter 3'3" cable as well (1 for TV to Cable box, and 1 for Xbox One S to TV) and it definitely makes a huge difference in picture quality. I noticed almost an immediate difference once I switched out the regular HDMI cable for the 4K cable.

I just set up a surround system in our spare bedroom. Over the last 15 years I have used Audio Quest audio and video cables. The have never let me down. I had purchased the Cinnamon line of HDMI cables for years. I wanted to save some money so I purchased the Pearl line. They are also an excellent HDMI cable. To be honest, I can't tell any difference between the two. Going forward I will probably stick with the Pearl line. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
