    Connects my 4k player to my 4k tv. The picture is spectacular, so I assume it works great. Have not tried using a cheap, regular hdmi cable to confirm if it is actually worth the price.

    Many of you have probably heard, as I have, that you do not need to buy an expensive cable for good sound. I am not sure if they make a difference or not, but the salesman made some good arguments so I took the plunge when I bought a new receiver. I used it in a ARC compliant slot so that I could receive theater sound using Amazon Prime. While I do not know if it is the receiver or the cable, I can say that my surround sound is much better now for all of the inputs.
