Bought this lock after being broken into and robbed. It not only gives me peace of mind knowing it is locked with the auto lock feature, but also shows me when anyone comes through that door. Also allows for guests to easily enter whether I’m home or not with my permission and not handing out keys. Even auto unlocks when I pull into the driveway. Great product and would recommend to anyone!

Set up and install were easy. Works with Apple Home. No need for the network bridge for me.

Super easy set up and easy to navigate app make this an overall great product. If you're interested in the thought of not having to worry too much about keys I recommend going with just a deadbolt/August and standard non-locking bottom lock with a chain lock (at the top for when you're home) so you, your friends, and your guests can easily come and go and you won't have to worry about anybody being half locked out!

I like this smart Lock. Easy to use through your phone, has Geo fencing options and can be locked and unlocked remotely with the added wofo adapter. Otherwise it unlocks through Bluetooth on your phone. One of the best features is that it inly replaces the inside portion of your lock so from the outside it does not appear to be a smart Lock and you can still use your key as a backup.

I have not had to worry anymore whether the door is locked or not. I love the fact that when I arrive the door unlocks, pretty sweet and the price is right.

Great system and was very easy to install. Setup was easy including the bridge for wifi connection. Only down side was the battery tends to die every three months. Expected it to at least last 5-6 months.

I have tried 4 different internet door locks and August is the best yet. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is pricey for no apparent reason. But it works the best of any I have tried.

I reviewed all of the currently available smart locks on the market and chose this one. I am very happy with it so far. It was easy to install and has an app that works great as well. It works great for toddlers as well - my son is almost 4 and loves to open the door. This sends me a notification as soon as the door is unlocked. This works great with Siri and HomeKit as well.

I really like it but it’s a little bit buggy. The batteries came loose from when the door was slammed. So the lock didn’t register on the app. Seems to be working now. Install was super easy.

The build is solid and it works fantastically. I love the auto lock and unlock features. The only drawback is that the metal cover rubs sometimes as the door locks and makes a metal on metal sound.

The wife and I are runners, this allows us no leave the house without taking a key with us and allows us to grant other entry. Great device.

The lock works well when it works. Sometimes drops connection or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to, but overall allows me and my family to come and go without carrying keys. :)

It makes it super easy to just walk home and unlock my door without having to hassle with my keys. Works with Siri too! My one complaint is that the app sometimes doesn't see the connect anywhere option and you can't lessen the range of the auto unlock when near (unless I haven't found it)

Works as advertised. Use for son and granddaughter who forget keys. And can send one time pass to relatives who need entry. Wish it would work for other types of locks! Bravo!

Really easy to install, it just takes minutes and works great specially when using Apple Home app; I noticed the August app takes longer to load and provide status, I have an Apple TV near the lock so it works over the internet as well. I've had it for about a month now and has never failed.

I bought this since I tend to forget my keys in my jacket pockets in my other homes. I never worry about where my keys are and love the fact that it welcomes me home and automatically opens the door when I'm within range. Super simple to install and leaves no construction footprint anywhere. Was a requirement since I currently rent and don't own as of yet.

This lock is pretty cool. It was very easy to install. I love the auto-home feature. The door unlocks as I'm pulling into driveway. There were a few times I tried to lock it from the app, and it definitely locked, but the app kept saying unable to lock due to a jam. It made me nervous that it would pop open at a later time. I love not looking for keys!

I thought because it was only Bluetooth that i wasn't going to like it, compared to zwave or zigbee locks, but i really like this lock.
