I love the fact that I can lock and unlock my door from my phone and get alerts whenever the door is unlocked or locked by someone else. No more do I have to make copies of keys bc you can you give that person a code or access whenever you want. With APPLE TV you can lock and unlock your door from anywhere you are. Get this product to move to the digital age

This is a great addition to a Smart Home / HomeKit. It works as advertised. If you have a 4 gen AppleTV you have full access to the lock from away from the home. Highly recommend.

This August smart lock is great. Even better if you have an Apple TV 4 within bluetooth range of the lock. Then you can control multiple locks with HomeKit. The only thing I don't like about the August is there app UI. The app has some bugs that need to be worked out but does not cause any security concerns. Took me only 6 mins to install this lock on my deadbolt lock. I love the fact that I can give anyone access to my home and set the time I want them to have access. Also, if you get the connect that even better because that will send you alerts to let you view the lock history also see who enters and leaves your home.

This lock was very ease to install and setup. I really love it.

We purchased this lock to make it easier for family to get into the house without fumbling with keys or keypads. Installation was a breeze and anyone who is minimally competent as a handyman can swap out the inside thumb latch with this lock. Programming was just as easy, download the app, search for the bluetooth signal and your done.

This is a really nice device, especially when you have younger children. I love the HomeKit component as well. The one setback, you are not notified if your door fails to lock.

I read a lot of reviews from Best Buy, amazon and you tube. All gave great ratings. This lock just works. Easy to setup and install. Using apple home kit is simple and great.

When I come home, my door unlocks. When I leave, it locks. It’s magical and I’ll never go back to traditional locks again!

I am impressed with how easy to use and set up this lock is. It is very convenient to be able and open and unlock the front door for people when you are not at home or not able to get to the door right away. It even works when the WiFi is down so you can still open your door if the power is out or WiFi is down. Clever!

This lock works great! I can walk out the door confident that the door will lock behind me in a few seconds. The door unlocks right as I walk up to it too. Very nice not need the key out when my hands are full. Plus, the app tells you when the door locks and unlocks and you can set the lock to make lock and unlock sounds

I was looking for a remote door lock to use for my home and the August smartlock works very well. It is easy to install and easy to give access to family and friends.

Very easy to set up the hardware and the software. Only thing that stops it from getting 5 stars is the size. Very large and noticable on the back of the door.

Installation was simple and looks great on the door.

And HOW MUCH for yet ANOTHER hub you say? I expected the Bluetooth to auto unlock/lock.. I'm handicapped, my main hand doesn't work/arm doesn't turn over. I chose the WORST solution. It took THREE deadbolts, despite having a "compatible" deadbolt in place. A new deadbolt would've been easier. And I'm exchabging for Yale zwave modules, as we've Echo/Smartthings/Zmodo/Logitech/Hue (all but Echos have own hubs) and Echobee not Nest nor Apple and the switched around deadbolts resulted in 1 not working with the door. Big nightmare for a 5 min job.

This is an awesome thing to have! I only got one set of keys from my landlord and wanted to allow access to my place for a few friends. We all have smartphones so this was my answer to my lack of keys problem. Easy to use and to set people up for access. When I don't want them to have access I can turn it off.

I have had zero issues so far. Easy to install and I like the fact that I can still use original key just in case batteries die or something.

I was happy that installation was easy as advertise, and that the Smart Lock works without any problems. When coupled with the WiFi option, I can successfully operate the Smart Lock from work, or out traveling. Allows neighbors to come in our house and check on pets, or check on the water etc.

this was my best smart home appliance I ever invested in. Its great for me coming home and it detects the presence of my phone and unlocks the door so I dont have to deal with unlocking and locking! It closes the lock too after a few minutes which is enough for you to come in after you park the car!

This is an affordable way to add a smart lock to your home. Only drawback is that it’s a little too bulky. Other than that, it works great.
