This was simple to install. Works great. By time I am to door it is open no fumbling for keys. Downside, sometimes doesn't connect fast enough to open but works 98% of time

best smart door lock! i love that it recognizes when my phone is close and automatically unlocks or locks my door. and super easy setup! video walk thorough for setup is cool

very easy to install and use while connected with my phone, I used it all the time, even when I moved, I brought it with me of course!

I purchased this item since I see its advantage over competitor that it has an ability to open door when our phone approaches the door. While the smartlock works flawlessly in remote lock mode, sometimes, it didn’t open the door until I stand in front of the door, pull out my phone just to get it even closer to the lock (the lock is on the inner side of the door). But, it worked fine a few dozen times so I think it just need a firmware upgrade instead of a major change. In addition, the algorithm to never unlock the door while we are home is super. If there’s a 4.8 star, I will not hesitate to give them that.

The caveat being wifi connectivity. It seems a part of my house has wifi dead spots so the lock sometimes takes a while to open. I kind of think August is ripping people off in the fact that if you need to remotely unlock multiple locks multiple wifi bridges are needed. One for each lock. I do not understand why the august wifi bridge cannot control more than one lock. Keep that in mind if you want to be able to unlock your doors remotely.

I loved the price and ability to use your original deadbolt with it! Although it’s just Bluetooth if you add the WiFi module it’s a full featured device!

Easy to set up with the in-app instructions. It connects well to the WiFi bridge device (not included). Looking forward to giving friends and family access.

I've installed this smart lock for a couple weeks it's been working great no problems. Opens when u get home,on time and locks when u leave. Flawless, love it.

If you need a simple smartlock that works and has great features than get the August lock. It was very easy to install and I just bought the keypad as well.

Purchased and installed this unit for my Mom who has trouble navigating stairs, now she can unlock the door from anywhere in the house.

This is a nice bluetooth and wi-fi lock. would prefer if the bridge wasn't sold seperately

Install and setup are simple. 15 minutes tops. Functions well. Now, everyone intentionally forget the key. Works surprisingly well.
