The August smart door lock is great! Easy to set up and works excellent.

Works fine using the app directly to unlock and lock the door. but my main desire when i purchased this was that it would automatically unlock the door for me when i arrived home. and maybe less then 50% it does. in the worst case it will decide to unlock the door after i've already manually unlocked the door and locked it behind me! that is not fun. surprisingly it will do this as well if you unlock the door with the phone as whenever the geolocation tips, it doesn't seem to have any memory that you just opened it... otherwise it is fine and the installation was fine. i do wish this version included the z wave support. I also have the wifi bridge installed and that did not improve the auto unlock functionality.

We needed a reliable smart lock when a family member had major surgery. During recovery, there would be a lapse of 15-30 minutes when they were alone before the caregiver would arrive. This lock worked every time on an Android smartphone using the bluetooth connection, allowing the caregiver to come in when no one could physically open the door.

One of the best bluetooth door locks I have used so far.

This is a great product, only thing is it requires the bridge. On the box it do not says that Bridge require. They should write this model require the Bridge in big letter. Or just sale product with the bridge.

I love having my door unlock automatically as I am near my home. I also love being able to give an access code to my friends and have them check up on my house, it gives you a history of every time it has been opened. It also tells you when the door wasn't fully closed. It just sucks that you have to buy the wifi adapter.

Had a bit of trouble a few times but overall it does work well it takes a while for the product pieces to get out I’ve complained about it multiple times but they don’t do anything about it then it’s difficult to get the whole thing refunded today and get another one that actually works

The first one I had stopped working, but August sent me a new one with no hassle and I’ve not had any problems out of the new one. It’s pretty responsive and you can use it remotely or manually. Not bad for the money.
