I purchased this lock so I could use my phone to unlock it. It works pretty good, although sometimes my phone will lose its connection to it. I don’t have the lock connected to my WiFi, so I can’t say anything about that. Also, it’s supposed to open automatically as I approach the door, but it doesn’t do that. It does lock automatically after a couple of seconds after I enter.

Love that this so compatible with my XFINITY home app. I able to control everything in one place. I unlock my home for my family when I away. Highly recommend for any smart home

This is a great buy if you have latch-key kids . Notifies me any time my door opens and what code was used .

The august lock does what its supposed to do when working correctly. Its easy to install. My only problem is that it can take a while for the lock to pick up the blue tooth from my phone so i get stuck waiting 15 seconds for the door to unlock.

This is a must have for me. We have been gone so much lately. Wish I would have known it didnt work remotely without the wi fi box. I bought it and it works great.

Needed a lock that would take multiple codes and notify us of users entry. This is perfect for that. Day 2 I noticed our dog walkers 20 Min walk was only 10 minutes. A++

could use more work on sizing and fit of the product. need lot of fiddling

It’s a good lock system. Works with Bluetooth. Not possible to get in without smart phone. Cannot lock from remote unless WiFi device to connect with the lock system, which is costing more for the user to get all facilities. Where as other locks comes with many options like key pad, wireless connectivity, Bluetooth etc.

Exactly what I was looking for. This having a hard time sending a lock code for someone else to access.

Bought this lock on a whim but glad I did. My old children can now get into the house without a key ( which tends to get lost.

As the title says you have a 50-50 chance on whether this lock will open or close when you want it to. When it works you feel like a VIP coming into your own home as the door surrenders to you as you approach granting you access. Then there are those times where you don't have much of a choice but to either pull out your hard key and go old school on your lock to manually open it or go through the hassle of pulling your phone out of your pocket, unlocking your phone, starting the app, going to the section where you stick your finger on the big round button making it unlock the door for you. At this point it's a bit of a gimmick and not worth the money until they perfect it where you can at least get it to work 90% of the time consistently.

this is the best period my has been working for a year now and it hasnt even sent me an alert that my batterries are low highly recommend

Sometimes I forget to lock the door, this solves the issue completely. I love the WiFi connectivity and the ability to see who’s going in and out.

This is the perfect lock. You can control this lock with your phone and even give out passes for those to get in and out of your home. Great lock!

This is my third August lock and I love the new look. So much sleeker than V1 or V2. Wish it still had the chime that sounded when locking.

Ever since buying a car with a push start key fob I had to buy this so I really don’t have to fidget with keys anymore.

This product does indeed work pretty well. However if you want to be able to lock/unlock from anywhere or if you are outside Bluetooth radius you need to buy another $80 device that only connects to a single lock at a time. I also, when installing, broke the plastic adapter that connects to your deadbolt.

I have not had any issues with the lock. That goes for all of the August locks. I recommend any of the August locks.

Grant access to whomever you want to enter your house without a key. I don’t even take out the keys from my purse. I love it!
