Love, love love the remote access to my home. I can grant access to my home when I'm away and simply lock up when they're done. When paired together with surveillance cameras it gives me great control over what happening at home when I'm away.

This was a super simple retrofit (necessary when the apartment complex doesn't allow you to change the deadbolt). Install took just a few minutes and the lock has worked perfectly since. The app could use a little work, but the hardware is top notch.

I don't have to worry if the kids locked the door or not. Plus I don't have to find my keys when I get home, the door unlocks for me when I pull into my driveway.

Big fan of this product! Was easy to install, and working excellent thus far!

Our deck was built really tightly to the back of the house and we recently had a storm door installed. The door can not be opened completely so simply unlocking the door via keys was a pain. Bought this product and no more problem!

I am very happy with this. It makes it so easy to allow others access to my place and no longer must I fish for my keys when I have my arms full works great

Very easy to instal and works great! Only got 4 stars because you need to buy the Connect if you want to access the lock when your not in Bluetooth range.

This is the second August lock I’ve owned and been very happy with it. I highly recommend the WiFi bridge to add on to be able to unlock from anywhere from a smartphone with the app.

This August is my second! Really liked the first generation, but simply love the second! It’s easy to install and works seamlessly! A must have for anyone who does not like making extra keys for guests, compromising security.

Main reason I bought this was for the auto unlocking with a phone. Had it for a month and its only failed to auto unlock twice so I'm pretty happy with it

The installation went well. I had to buy a allen wrench to remove part of my existing dead bolt for August lock installation. Once installed, everything worked as expected. Now I can go running without carry my keys.

I wanted a reasonably priced and fully functional smart door lock for the house and this one fit the bill perfectly. It works great with my Alexa and SmartThings. No one in the family even carries keys anymore.

Purchased this as a gift for my wife who is constantly looking herself outta the house. We work 45 mins from home and having this device allows us to send a digital key to family members with ease.

It works well. When I got it I had an Android phone and it worked ok with the app. I have iPhone now and the apps works better. Get the keypad and don't worry about using the phone app. They work really well together.

The August smart lock is the best smart lock out there. I have tried a few and this one is by far the fastest to hook up, the easiest to navigate on the app and works all the time with no fail.

I love this smart Lock. I haven't had any crazy issues. The lock comes with an adjuster for the door. It's very easy to install. Being able to open the door from my car it's awsome.

This remote lock is perfect! Can be open via Bluetooth or online, It’s been connected or partnered with our door bell, Wifi sometimes is week even its close to my router.

I give this a 5 star review, as the item works as it is advertised, I live in an apartment, and when I get to the front door it unlocks automatically, works excellent with google home, sharing the access works flawlessly, and 30 seconds after I leave it locks automatically. There is one down side, you pay all this money for the mechanism not for a lock, plus I had to get the hub for it to work with Google home, when everything should be integrated, it is cheaper to purchase this model and the hub separately then the round lock with the hub you can save around $70. My apartment is now smart on all the things I have, if you want it smart you can get this and it will work beautifull.

My issues with this unit, I have the smart lock and hub, it only works randomly, perhaps that is the smart lock, works when it wants to. one day, it locks and unlocks perfectly, then a few hours later, time to use the key again. the Hub is mounted 3 feet from the door, wi-fi, not the problem. When the problem is reported, no on is available at this time. very frustrating.

Not as many functions compared to the more expensive model but still able to do remote access and bluetooth lock/unlock. Make sure to check and see if ur lock is compatible.
