very easy to set up and use. looks nice and good size, not too big

It works great and mine seems to work fast but it goes through batteries in about 2 to 3 months

If you have any of the August products this is a great one to add! We have our August smart lock set to auto lock after 5 min so with the keypad I can leave my phone inside and just punch in the code to unlock the house again. It's also great to have in case your phone dies before getting home. It's just nice to have an additional way to unlock the house without fumbling around with keys. Super convenient and easy to use!

This product is super easy to install. I completed the install within 10 minutes (with programming.) Two major issues with it, however. First, the backlight is dim and the registering of a key punch is hit or miss. This translates to an average number of attempts until the door locks or unlocks to about 2-3. This is frustrating. Secondly, the battery life seems very poor. It could have been old batteries mine came with, but I only got about two months of use before they were dead. Additionally, I probably average once a week actually using it so very disappointing. At 80 dollars, it’s not exactly a steal, but if you could find it for 40 or so, it’s a very nice add-on.

My kids don’t need to worry about loosing keys because I installed this keypad

This is a great add on if you plan on not using your phone to enter the house. Plus you can assign information remotely if you have the connect adapter.

Product looks like it will work fine for my application. I’m a little concerned about battery life but is a little early to say.

Seems odd to buy a keypad for the brand new Bluetooth lock you bought meant to be used by your phone wirelessly. But if you are like me or my dad we step out a lot for different things to the garage and not all the times you have your phone. The product does exactly what it should. Supply you another way to interact with the lock if you choose to not have your phone don't want to get it or something happened to it. The only downside I say I have or take away from it is while use with your phone is flawless. The keypad can take a few extra seconds to open the lock trying to communicate. And if you don't activate the power saver mode in the keypad settings when you first get it, has the chance to eat up your battery.

My wife and I love our August lock but wanted something handy to unlock the door without the phone. This keypad connects easily and works flawlessly every time. My only complaint (and the reason for 4 stars) is that it goes through batteries faster than expected. We also have had issues with corrosion but I’m chalking that up to cheap batteries. The August system provides peace of mind by allowing us to verify that the door is locked either at bedtime or after we have left the house. The other great feature is Amazon Alexa integration. We just ask Alexa to lock the front door and a few seconds later it’s done (as a security feature, Alexa can not unlock August).

I bought all the August items and this seemed to be the only device that worked. Simple setup but couldn't tell how reliable it is because everything else was so bad. Stay away from August.

This was so easy to install and so far I have not had any delay or problems with the keypad. I will see how long the batteries last but it does sleep so I hope it will be a while

I wish the lock would unlock with my phone automatically as well as this keypad works to unlock the door.

This was a great item and works really well... Only one keypad works with the lock, so be sure to regard this when purchasing should it matter to you. BTW, lights flashing means the battery is dying.

Makes using the august lock easier. You can also create different codes for multiple people and allow them access at certain times. It is much smaller than it looks, which is very nice.

This keypad looks great next to our August Doorbell! It almost goes unnoticed if you weren't looking for it. Although expensive, this is an almost necessity to have with the lock.

I got the entire august system. Everything works great, there are a few glitches here and there but overoverall, it's pretty good compared to others systems.

Good product. The only thing is that the battery runs out quickly .

Cheap, simple, easy, effective. Smart home tech as it should be.

The keypad looks and works fine just the battery doesn't stay that long and kinda pricey. I'm only using it for guest codes
