Added this to my new August door lock as i needed other options to unlock the door without my phone or key. This also added the ability to give friends and family individual and custom codes with can be revoked at any time. Easy to install and works perfectly.

Decent product. Some issues once and a while, but works great most of the time. Nice accessory for the August locks.

After setting up the August Smart Lock and doorbell, I purchased the Smart Keypad as well. This was by far the easiest part to install and had no issues. Had it for almost two months now and working just fine. Very easy to add/delete/change users on the app.

Ability to unlock the door without having to pull out my phone, open the app, and wait for the phone to connect to the lock is such a great convenience.

Excellent product you can personalize it for each and every user to have their own entry code if senses when you're near it and lights up as long as you're a Wi-Fi is good it will tether to your August lock

Definately a life savor.. Needed this big time. Bought the August lock and turned the setting to auto lock. If you forget to bring your phone with you (and key, but who uses keys with a keyless lock) then your locked out. Get this little guy

Over priced addition to something that should include this in the first place. Doesn't always work the first time.

The August door lock and key pad has came in so handy and glad we installed it. No longer need to carry my key and easy for my son to come and go without a key. Have had no problems with it.

We have this on the office of small home business and the only draw back is the batteries go very fast in this keypad - 2 AAA batteries.

This is good when you don’t want to smart home connect it. -1 star because it uses AAA batteries and it only lasts less than 6 months

I bought this to go with my 3rd gen lock. I wanted to be able to lock the door without a smart phone when I was leaving the house. This does the job perfectly. But for what it is, it feels a little pricey.

This is an excellent addition to the August smart lock. It’s great for giving individual codes to guests as well as using one touch of the button to lock the deadbolt. It beats having to have your keys out to lock the door.

Works most of the time but not as reliable as the standalone lock is. It's always eventually worked but it's too finicky sometimes resetting the battery helps other times waiting before you re-enter a code works. I'd say wait for v2.0.

Works well with August lock. However, the price is a bit too expensive for a keylock.

The keypad is a great addition to the August Smart Lock. I am able to assign pins to friends/family etc. I no longer have to get keys made for everyone that I will allow access to.

Very simple to set up and pair to the lock. Not sure what the battery life is at this stage.

Perfect addon for retrofit. No issues. So far. Only slight issue if you have to re-pare with lock. The app wouldn’t recognize the touchpad because I had previously pared the touchpad.

It actually was easier to install obviously and just as easy to setup as the lock. I don't have to worry about taking my phone and I love not having to worry about handing out keys to family so that they can lose them.

I don't know how I survived without this. Using your phone app to auto unlock is slow and doesn't work as well. It is better to press a couple of buttons and you are in. Easy to pair and it works well. Flawless so far
