Only remote option for august smart lock, however often times out or takes 30 second before the lock/unlock is received. Tried right next to lock as well as outside the door with same result. Keeping it as its the only option - but would consider a different HomeKit lock if I knew this would have the performance experienced.

Easy to setup. Everybody can have there own code and you choose the length of the code. A necessity when you don’t have your phone with you. Definitely recommended.

This product is great for the most part, but as with any device that is connecting by Bluetooth, it can at times lose connectivity. I've had it now for about a month and I'd say that on average, it works 8 out of 10 times. During those times when it doesn't work, sometimes if you give it about 30 seconds or simply re-key in your password, it will work afterwards. Overall, I do like the product.

I love having the option of using a key pad. Worth the money.

Having the keypad with the smart lock is great. Great for guest or roommates that need access to the home and you cant access the app.

If you have the August Smartlock HomeKit then this is a must have. It is easy to install and it works great. It's also easy to set up the entry codes through the app.

great little add on to your existing august door lock. i like that feature to give people their own personal code, so codes aunt being shared.

It took two tries to have it paired and update but after that it works flawlessly. I was also able to give a temporary code to a guest.

A must add to your lock purchase. Easy setup and attaches to the wall with screws or sticky take. I have not used keys in a year.

The keypad and connect make the August complete. Should be sold as a package in first place. Just make sure you shop around for the best price.

You need this for guest to use or if you don’t have your phone with you. Works perfectly. Easy to change battery.

Bought this to go with the August lock and works great. Mostly for my son when he goes outside to play and gets back in with his own password

You can create as many pass codes as you like with specific time and days of the week. No more keys to carry. This is a great product.
