I bought the August smart lock and this keypad is a great addition to it. Helps in lots of ways

This keypad was a great addition to our smart lock. Very easy to install and easy to use

When my son gets off the bus he uses this alone with my August lock to open the door.

If you leave you phone and keys in the house and the lock locks you out this is your way in.

I have mixed feelings overall regarding this keypad. I am still trying to figure out some of the features with the August lock and keypad. I do like the app shows the battery level of the keypad as well as the code. I am still trying to figure out how to change the code.

This is an easy way to open your door without a key or phone.

Bought this to accompany my August lock just in case I forget to take my keys or phone when I walk my dog. Has so far worked without fail. Does have a 2 second lag but this is acceptable. I have hidden a couple of replacement batteries on the exterior in case they are needed because I am not sure if I will get a low battery warning and don't want to be caught outside with no way to get in.

Works most of the time had to reset it a couple times.

Really like I can give someone a one time code and use it and then don't have to worry about it.

I've replaced the triple A batteries twice in two months. Turned the motion sensor off and everything. the last time I put batteries in, the same day the sensor said they were low. Other wise it works well

One of my biggest gripes about the august lock is lack of a an external keypad like the Schlage and Yale locks...understanding that this is just not that type of lock by design, it's still something I feel is an important part of the equation. Enter this keypad, which I want to like a lot, but it falls a little short on execution. I don't the keypad daily, so each time it's a struggle with remembering, do i need to push any button first to initiate, then pin, then august button? It turns into me getting frustrated and just opening the app on my phone or asking siri. Sucks when you want to share the keypad with visitors who have no idea how to use it without instructions.

Like it , really easy to get in the door. This really goes well with the August lock.

Allows you to get use to no keys to enter the house. Downside is during colder months the buttons don't respond as well. I would have liked different quality for the buttons. Overall a good buy.

If you have the august lock you need to get this. Yea it's pricey. But it's worth it!
