Exceptionally well designed door lock. Wouldn't you like to know that your door is closed but not locked. Or, your door is ajar. Big visual indicator on your phone app, RED your door is locked, Green your door is open. You open or close the lock from home or while on vacation. Many more options. Hands down, the best home automation lock.

Life changing device just don’t walk outside without your phone or stashed key. Mine is set to automatically lock after 10 minutes which I love but am keenly aware of. We love these devices where you lock and unlock from anywhere. Very well made and durable. Pleased with purchase and was easy to install.

I love this product. it has really helped with my kids coming home from school and I love the auto lock feature that allows it to lock after a set amount of time because the kids always forget to lock the door. I also love the feature that lets you know if the door has been left open after a set period time.

I always come home from work carrying my purse, lunch bag, and whatever I've picked up on after work errands. It may seem like a small thing, but having the door unlock when I pull into the driveway rather than juggling things while I unlock the door is wonderful! I also love being able to check the door status when I am worried that we didn't lock it.

I think this is currently the gold standard to retro-fit existing smart locks in your house. It was a lot easier to install than I had expected, and it was nice that it comes in two colors so you can pick one that matches your existing lock. You can still use a key to open the lock from the outside, it just replaces the deadbolt on the inside.

This lock works great but It’s pretty big and kind of ugly. Also people are never able to figure out how to unlock the door to leave my house. I’m sure it adds confusion because I have double front doors, so people aren’t sure which door to open either lol.

The August door lock and key pad has came in so handy and glad we installed it. No longer need to carry my key and easy for my son to come and go without a key. Have had no problems with it. Very easy to install. No issues with it not working. Best product we have bought in a while.

It’s great to have the Auto Unlock & lick features! She locks the house automatically when I leave and unlocks when I pull in the driveway! The alerts when others come & go are also a nice feature to know when the kids get home from school. This also syncs with my Apple Smart Home as well. A+

This took a fair amount of fiddling to get working, since the fit of the device and the existing deadbolt have to be really right to get smooth operation, but once it was installed, it does well. Easy to lock/unlock with phone, add others like my son, get alerts when the door opens, etc.

We bought a new house and bought the August smart lock pro. My wife calls me Tim the tool man Taylor, so that means I’m not real good at installing stuff. But putting this lock on was super easy. I was done in 10 minutes. The lock itself works great. I would recommend to anyone that you buy it.

Living on the third story can be hard enough, between endless flights of stairs and stuggling to shuffle things around to unlock the door when your hands are full. This smart lock has taken away that hassle by automatically unlocking the door when I arrive home, so I can just walk right it. I also love how I can control it anywhere and give other people access to my "key" so they can let themselves in and out, without worry of the door being unlocked all day. My favorite feature of all though, is the auto-locking function, so I don't have to remember to lock the door at night or when I leave. Instead, it atomically locks itself after the door has been shut for 1 minute, and notifies me if the door is not shut all the way if it's unable to lock after that one minute has passed. As a college student with a lifelong history of sleepwalking, my mom loves having the ability to check on me via the apps Activity Log, to make sure I'm not out wandering my apartment complex late at night when she knows I'm usually sleeping now that I live on my own. I absolutely love my smart lock and would recommend it to ANYONE who lives in a house with a door.

Great that it instantly locks after closing. Also it usually recognizes when you approach and unlocks. But I think if you have battery saver mode on your android phone it does not always connect to internet and use the app in the background. So make sure you have it running on.

Good not great, It jams a lot when weather changes happens. Don't personally know if it is the lock itself or maybe just the house. But as long as you are careful it does add ease and security to your mind.

I have really been enjoying the August smart lock. The connect component to it has been helpful in allowing others to come to my house while I was away. It is very easy to use and install. First set of batteries lasted about 4 months. Overall very pleased with this product.

This is the 3rd gen August with Connect & Door Sense. Big improvement over previous gens. Can not use voice command on HomePod to unlock due to security reasons, You can use Siri voice command on iPhone due to fingerprint/facial recognition security. Love how this unit auto locks as we arrive home with our hands full with groceries, etc

Love that i can control from anywhere. Also installed camera so i can watch delivery peraon after i open door or send them a code
