This is hands down the worst movie of the entire Avengers saga.

From seeing it in theaters to rewatching it many times, Age of Ultron truly had potential to be great, but fell flat in many places. The cast was great, but there were too many quips, and James Spader’s voice for Ultron is fantastic, but MCU Ultron is also too humorous. While it didn’t live up to the hype, its not bad by any means.

While not as unique or as powerful as the first Avengers film, this second chapter is still pretty good and sets things up nicely for the next phase of the MCU. And, it's in 4K! Must watch!

We are gathering the marvel movies like Thanos is stones...this movie introduced some great characters but it’s probably my least favorite of the 4 Avengers movies. Plus I don’t really like the reference from Vision as “I am.”

Action-packed, dramatic and funny in all the right

Avengers: The Age of Ultron is the sequel to the fourth highest grossing movie of all time. At the risk of over-hyping it any more, I can say it's probably the best Marvel movie to date. It manages to be action-packed, dramatic and even very funny in all the right places.
After the Avengers lead a successful raid against a Hydra outpost, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) revives his secret peacekeeping program Ultron (voiced by James Spader) to help safeguard the planet from evil. However, Ultron interprets the idea of keeping Earth safe as a need to eradicate humankind from existence. Ultron shortly escapes from Stark's laboratory to act out its mission and it's up to the Avengers, along with their new allies, the twins Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) to stop Ultron from carrying out this genocidal act.
Even though it is darker than the first film, Avengers: The Age of Ultron is still able to capture the charm and humour from its main characters that we have grown to love over the years. Tony Stark is still as witty as ever, delivering his trademark hilarious one-liners and Hawkeye's (Jeremy Renner) scenes have some of the most poignant moments in any Marvel film. But perhaps the biggest surprise were the twins Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, who played a much more important role than I thought they would. There's rarely a dull moment.
I rate it 9/10, a bit higher than its predecessor, which I rated 8.5/10.

Duality As Well As Gifts of Good and Evil

Avengers Age of Ultron feature the return of the Superhero characters such as the Ironman (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bruce Banner/The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson), and Ultron (James Spader) (there are more actors that also tie into the film as well). Anyhow, there is also the plot development of the growing relationship between the Bruce Banner character and Natasha Romanoff. The Avengers are dealing with formidable characters who have the gift of implanting certain beliefs and/or thoughtforms into people and making them believe that they are their own (I admit that this is all a fictional story but it gave me unexpected insight of being more wise/discerning as to when others are projecting their beliefs for you to have versus my own beliefs as well as developing your own potential boosting beliefs regardless of what even your most gifted critics may say unless their proposed solution is obviously better and/or more empowering than yours). They are also dealing with having to outsmart and outwit a dangerous and gifted being that was actually the unintended creation of at least two of the Avenger characters.

I purchased this BluRay disk the day it came out, after eagerly waiting for it to be released i was pleasantly surprised to be able to walk into my local Best By and buy the movie. The only problem i cam across which i have come across many times before is that there never seems to be enough stock on the shelves or made available of the Steel Book versions. I was told by an onsite employee that people were buying three four and up to 6 copies in the steel book version. i find that rather disturbing as these people are only going to re-sell online at an exploded cost becasue it is a collectors edition. And those of us that work for a living cant be there when the store first opens to purchase. I believe that Best Buy could do a better job as having or offering a larger quantity of these special steel book editions of popular movies. At this point for me to continue collecting this version of my favorite Marvel movies i now have to make a second purchase at a much higher price.

Although the movie was entertaining, it was a mere shadow of what it could and honestly SHOULD have been... a lot of the previous reviewers got it partially right.. Ultron is/ was one of the most powerful and diabolical villains the Avengers ever faced... this rendition... laughable at best! From the voice acting to the look of his armor to his nefarious plan... nothing comes close to what he was in the comics. And i'm not trying to come off as a fan boy... I don't mind poetic license but I would have enjoyed the movie better if they called him "Armor Suit" or anything but Ultron. There was... to me.... never a sense that the Avengers could actually lose to this clown. I say clown because he was voice acted as some weird Joker wannabe. Though, far less interesting a psychotic, and far less menacing. Really, when a sentient robot can't be as menacing as a flesh and blood person... there is no need for the robot. In the comics, Ultron is essentially indestructible (Adamantium) and although I know Marvel could not use THAT metal they do already have vibranium at their disposal... which would have made Ultron as strong as Captain America's shield.... and as such.. a true challenge. He was also much smarter in the comics and would not have been so easily defeated.. unless defeat was part of his ultimate plan... let's say to believably slip in a mole.. (Vision anyone?) into the Avengers midst. From the opening sequence which felt very "Capcom Avengers gamish" the movie felt half baked AND overdone at the same time. TOOOOO much action without enough care or concern for plot, direction or that something special that would help it stand up to the hype. It could easily have been more than it was.. it was easily outdone by the original Avengers and the Winter Soldier and sadly/ surprisingly given a run for the money by none other than Ant Man... and that quite simply should NOT have been the case.
When all is said and Done it IS a Marvel movie and it IS an Avengers movie so I have to like it... I only wished I could love it... and sadly, I can't! :(

The first Avengers movie was a fantastic film with great characters and great action, but was a bit of a slow starter before it reached its sensational climax. This film starts at 11, but also manages to make time for its characters. Age of Ultron is a wonderful movie that packed with well-choreographed fights, compelling characters with fully realized character arcs, and even speaks to the human condition. It's truly a film that has it all.

The Avengers are back

The Avengers return to fight a robot that was originally meant to protect the world. The robot Ultron has devestating plans instead. New characters are introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The movie is far from being perfect. Too many things were put in the movie and the movie felt like it needed more editing. The villain Ultron, like so many of the Marvel villains, doesn't survive by the end of the movie.
It was nice seeing the Avengers together again in action. With new characters introduced and a familiar country from the comic books, the Marvel Universe is getting bigger. There is a mid-credits scene that should not be missed.
The Blu-ray disc contains the film and special features. There is also a commentary from director Joss Whedon.
The steelbook is something collectors should get.

There were some dull & slow parts in the film, but other than those parts- I loved the film. The Avengers always will have some sort of humor connected with them. I LOVED the introduction of the two new new characters. I look forward to the ending credits to every Marvel film because there is always a teaser at the end and I don't know why because all of the millions of fans know that more moves are coming but why not give us a peek two years early! Lol! Downey is a nut
