Bike arrived before scheduled excellently packaged and with zero damage was easy to reassemble. I've only ridden it twice about five miles but I'm impressed with the quality of the bike so far for what I paid. I am 6 ft 4 and over 300 pounds but the bike handles me very well and the motor has lots of power to get me up over 20 miles an hour. It will take practice for me to get used to the where the motor comes on and off as you pedal but overall a great ride especially for half the price of the competition.

The only upside to this bike really is the strong motor, and the brakes being decent. Sadly this bike delivers in no other places, the rear mech isn't what's shown in the picture, and is poor quality and hard to adjust. It was delivered incorrectly assembled, as the handle bar and screen were upside down, and the instructions for the front wheel were very unclear. The out of box experience is horrible, as you basically are forced to take this to a bike shop if you have little experience working on bikes, which defeats the purpose of purchasing through best buy sadly.

Not sure that BB actually stocks these, think they have a relationship with the manufacturer to get priority shipments when purchased. I say this because the manufacturer told me they were out of the Large frame size with no more coming in yet BB was able to acquire one for me.
Item arrived at the store on time in a pristine shipping contained. BB had it loaded in my truck and I was on my way within 5 minutes of entering the store. Assembly took about two hours and that included checking every nut and bolt that was already installed (they were all properly tightened from the factory).
Electric bikes are a unique phenomenon because the power system allows you to imitate a much lighter bike on level 1 and using very little electricity to do so. Then, as you go up in assist levels, you get into higher and higher speeds, up to 28mph.
Or, if you've just had enough pedaling for the day, you can go full electric for the ride home. Of course, full electric drains the battery pretty quick to being within 5-10 miles of home before making this decision is a good idea.
My bike mechanic, who owned a high end bike shop for 40 years, was very impressed with the quality of construction and the components used, especially for a mid-priced model. Everything was adjusted property from the factory and even my assembly efforts were spot on. His only dislike was the weight - 63lbs is HEAVY when you're moving it around your garage or parking area. But, if it was made out of carbon fiber and alloy materials, it would cost at least double, and probably triple, what it costs. You could, of course, remove the rack and fenders and lighten it up some.
My one and only complaint is that this a commuter level bike, advertised as such and functioning as such, and yet it does not come with lights. Totally unacceptable to me and while I've added my own lights, they need to be charged separately which is an inconvenience and perhaps even dangerous if they lose charge during a night ride. Every commuter bike should come with good, powerful, LED lights that run off the main battery.
I researched for months before purchasing this brand and model. Suggest everyone do the same as different things appeal to different people. I'm in Tucson, AZ with very flat terrain, 265 miles of dedicated bike paths, over 1,000 miles of bike lanes and home of the tour de Tucson bike even that draws thousands of riders. Someone who lives in Boulder CO may care a LOT more about the ability to climb hills than overall capacity of the battery or the speed across level ground.
You will probably need to do a little customizing. I added a 60 degree, 100MM stem to the handlebars to better fit me, lights, horn, saddlebags, rear view mirror, a much better and more comfortable seat.

Item arrived with a broken battery door, and a broken ball bearing ring on the steering shaft. Also, tires and brakes rub like crazy. A mostly assembled bike in a box is nice... the execution from Aventon needs improvement.
Only option BBY gave was to return and reorder. I'd loose the sale pricing. Returning for refund and ordering a completely different bike from another retailer.
