I was torn between this projector and the Epson, without seeing them in person. I am glad that I chose this one, it has a lot of great features and it looks great, even in a well lit room. The game mode UHD actually works. It has a nice crisp and clean picture and the sound quality is great, especially paired with a Dolby Atmos, sound system. It has a compartment in the back for a streaming stick, HDMI 1 is hidden in there and they even supplied a power area and cord, and sent an Amazon Fire Stick for it but a Roku or others will also work, or leave the compartment open and run a HDMI cable to it. Overall for the price point, this projector provides the best bang for the buck and actually delivers 4K UHD, plus it will do 3D, lots of the laser projectors won’t. It’s a little tricky to get the picture perfectly square, but with patience, you have feet to adjust on the front and back, just setting it flat on the area, didn’t provide a square picture, the software will square up the picture but it’s best to get it as square as possible, before using the software.

I’m nine feet from the screen, and the immersive experience is fantastic. I bought the AWOL LTV-3000 Pro primarily for movies and sports. Watching the Stanley Cup this week on my 120” screen seemed like rink-side seats. Baseball games using the MLB app are great as well. I’m a movie collector with over 2000 in my collection and am loving the theater-like experience especially with epic films like Stars Wars and Dr. Zhivago. Set up was easy even for a non-techy older person like me. It took a while to get used to navigating the operating system, but that was to be expected. The 36W speaker is plenty of sound for the room without the need for a soundbar and noise from the unit itself is negligible. I spent a couple months researching short throw projectors, and I’m very happy with this purchase.

The AWOL Vision - LTV-3000 Pro was the perfect projector for our home theater. The picture quality is sharp, the colors are bright, and the black tones are not washed out. The projector takes up very little space, and the pictures it casts are vivid with the lights off or on. It has taken our movie and gaming experiences to the next level. We highly recommend this quality product!

I had a small area in my recently finished basement that I had a vision of turning into a movie area but was always concerned that it wasn’t big enough for projector use. The awol ust projector and screen were a godsend. I was impressed with picture quality, built in speaker sound and ease of use. It handled gaming like a dream with no detectable lag whatsoever. I was thinking of getting the 3500 but opted to be more frugal opting for the middle ground product and have no regrets whatsoever. It’s an amazing product for the price. Matching it with the 100” ALR is also just perfect. The ability to digitally adjust picture edges made setting this up so much easier. I have no problem recommending this to anyone looking for a movie theater experience

I was in the market for a TV originally for my theater room. A friend of mine told me to look into short throws. After doing quite a bit of research on short throw projectors, I came across this projector and after much thought, took the leap and purchased the LTV 300 PRO and the ALR 100 inch floor rising screen. BEST DECISION EVER. I am so glad I didn't go with the TV. The combo of the two work out fantastic. I mounted the screen on the wall with brackets purchased separately and it looks awesome. The projector will sync with the screen and open and close when it turns on. The picture is great, gaming works great when the turbo mode is enabled. It comes with a fire stick and a hidden compartment for it. A lot of options in a small package and one of the selling points as well is it can be moved when needed.

This is an all around great projector. The image quality is great, and the sound is very good for built in speakers. The fan or fans could be a little quieter. And if you’re prone to seeing RBE, this projector might not be the one for you. Its not too bad. I’ve seen it worst with other projectors. Overall I’m very please with the purchase.

I finally found one 4K short throw projector to play games on HDR. The picture looks better than the photos. Made the gameplay to the next level!

For the first time I was not sure about quality of picture. I’ve bought special screen for it. It much better than big TV.

Excellent Projector in this segment and price range. I had this compared with ForMovie and AWOL was a clear winner in terms on brightness, clarity . I would say overall rating as 4.5 / 5 due to bulkiness and spacing from wall. Pros: 1. Picture Quality. The colors are superb and it was very very close to LED tvs. 2. Sharpness 3. Brightness. Can watch comfortably with <25% dimmable lights on and if you need more brighter than 3500Pro would be better choice. 4. No eye strain . 5. Quiet at max brightness. Cons: 1. Bulky 2. The distance from floor or wall is high when compared to other projectors. It is very difficult to adjust and align as per specifications. Ensure you read the installation guidelines and measure the wall and height of your home to see if it fits in as per the screen size. For 8 ft floor height in basement, I couldn't have any TV stand fit in to adjust to 132 inch screen and finally had to place on height adjustable monitor stand. 3. The floor knobs is hard to adjust as the alignments are in 1/8 inch, wish they be on the side to adjust the height.

Ive been buying projectors for over 20 years with multiple brands and display types. This is the best one I've owned. A year ago i bought a 65" samsung qd oled because i wanted the best picture i could find. Its a great, but a huge pain to move especially after it needed repairing under warranty, plus potential screen burn in, and the size is just not great for movies, you really need something much bigger. This where awol comes in, I am throwing a 150" size right against my wall and it looks amazing even without a screen. (I do recommend a screen) however my baby cats keep attacking the wall, so that' ll have to wait (no more horror watching them scratch my tv). This is the size of four 75" tvs together in my living room, amazing! ive always had dedicated home movie theaters, but having this projector has finally brought my big screen size to the comfort of my couch. the black levels and contrast are great and i dont miss the oled at all. Especially the glare on tv or the eye fatigue i'd get from staring at a direct light source at night. Theres so much i could say about this pj, but ill try to keep it simple. This laser tv produces a wider color gamut than any tv on the market and you can see the difference, it supports dolby vision and hdr10+, different aspect ratios, better speakers than a tv, whisper quiet, the smart tv aspect (amazon fire stick) is faster and smoother operating than my tv, portability that i can easily take anywhere with adjustable screen size, no more light glare from windows, and most importantly for me being able to watch 3d movies again. Watching a 3d movie on a tv was pretty boring bevause the size is just to small. On this projector its incredible, like being at the movies all over again. The awol 3d glasses are better than other brands ive bought, i highly suggest them I have to give credit to the customer service, they are amazing. I thought i had a problem with the picture on my brand new unit and they called me back on a friday night and were ready to send me a new one if they couldnt figure out the problem which actually turned out to be netflix error. Anytime i've called them they've been very helpful and quick to respond back. The company is really great and i am very impressed. I like this projector so much i plan on moving this to the bedroom in place of the oled and getting the 3500 pro and screen combo (after the cats settle down) which saves some money

I have ordered an AWOL bundle in Nov 2023, that came with a LTV PRO 3000 projector and a 120 inch Floor Rising Screen. The shipment was received in a week and the setup was pretty simple. I have been using this product for a month now. I was surprised at the stunning picture quality. The picture is bright and you can have this projector in your living room and watch during anytime of the day. The 3D glasses are amazing and I have enjoyed watching 3D movies. With this projector at home, I don’t like to go to theater anymore :). The inbuilt speaker quality is amazing and we do not need any external speakers. I do have a surround home theater which I need to hook up, but with the audio output from the projector, I’m differing my plans. The projector has a safety feature and it stops screening if someone goes close, this is a great feature with kids around and when placed on the floor. The only con I have noticed so far are the black levels during the daytime, need some more better clarity. But during the night, the quality is amazing. I think I have to adjust some settings, but overall I feel it is a great projector and would recommend buying one.

Had the awol 3000 for about a month now and it’s a treat everytime my family uses it. I set it up myself , easily connected to adobo atmos , very user friendly and amazing picture . It’s it quit and doesn’t create a distraction. Also in the setting there are multiple placement options if you prefer mounting it on the ceiling or behind the screen in addition to the floor. Overall pleased with the purchase!

bought this to replace a epson 5030ub rear projector in a basement home theatre. picture is good and a brighter than the epson. i can have lights on low and still looks good. i am still using the screen i bought at best buy in 2013 for 400.00 so it probably would perform better in light with the proper screen. i had a job setting this up. i had to build a temporary stand to figure out the height and distance from the wall it needed. it ended up being 8” off the floor to the bottom of the projector and 26” from the wall to the back of the projector. i ended up buying the awol motorized shelf and building a pedestal for it. the only thing i don't care for is its size and how it looks in the room and having to build stand. also i use a harmony remote and this is the first product i want able to find in their database. i had to program it manually using the original remote. overall i’m impressed with it and would buy again

Superior built quality along with the all cutting edge audio/video features like Dolby vision/Atmos, HDR 10+ and ... makes Awol Vision best bang for your buck! Paired it with 120" ALR screen and I'm amazed with it's picture quality and brightness/contrast even with the lights on. Fairly easy to setup and doesn't take much room. Highly recommended.

I bought this AWOL LTV-3000 Pro model during Black Friday deal of 2024. I was skeptical about buying this UST projector because of its price but now I am super satisfied with the outcome. It has crisp 4k picture quality and I have hooked my samsung q-series soundbar with it. Installation took around 2-3 hrs and calibrating screen also takes sometime but once you get the right settings its all magic. It also supports 3D which is phenomenal.
