This game is pretty cool. It's like metroid where you collect weapons and power ups to advance. The music is really cool. This edition is nice because it comes with bonus cds and a map poster for the same price.

This is a really great re-imagining of Metroid. I'm normally not a big fan of collector's editions as they come with trinkets and junk that I don't need but the artbook in this one is neat and the soundtrack and documentary are a nice bonus. Overall this will scratch the 2d Metroid itch and is a must own for any fan of the genre that hasn't played it before.

For Switch folks you are getting a soundtrack the other versions do not. Yes you are paying the "Switch Tax" but it's a nice extra.

The gameplay and music is exactly what you’d expect from a SNES Metroidvania. Very cool so far. The Multiverse Box is notorious for being lower quality, and can sometimes vary on whether you get a good condition one or not. Mine was pretty fair considering. But all the extras inside are amazing. Definitely worth the price.

If you enjoy classic games like the metroid series or the castlevania series, this game will make you feel right at home. There are so many games out there that try to copy this gameplay style, but this is one that does it properly. The Multiverse edition comes with other goodies as well. However, if you plan on ordering this online, I suggest checking in store first since BestBuy doesn't tend to package these boxes very well and it may come damaged.
