If you like Metroid and if you like Castlevania this is a must buy! Great game

This is THE best edition of this game. The packaging addons are terrific and are an enormous value on their own. Most of the proceeds go to fund the developer's sick kid which is pretty awesome. The game itself is a loving homage to metroidvania.

I like that axiom Verge plays kind of like Metroid but it's it's own thing with it's own power ups mechanics and MAP SYSTEM and a slightly trippy story this physical edition has everything too like soundtrack and art I'm like blown away man

I've heard nothing but good things about this game and as Metroid fan, (Project AM2r) I'm looking forward to finally playing it.

Loving the retro 8-bit style and the homage to the 1st NES Metroid. The art style is very detailed as is the sound effects and eerie music. Plus, this Switch physical version donates $ to the developer's son's medical condition :)

I highly recommend this game for so many reasons. 1 it's fun. 2 it's similar to Metroid. 3 the creator of this game uses the purchase price of each game to help for his son's medical bills. Highly Recommend.

Axiom Verge is a great game if you're looking for a classic 2D exploration game. This game is more NES Metroid than SNES, so if you're looking for a modern take on a retro style game this will scratch the itch.

This game is reminiscent of old school SNES games like Castlevania and Metroid, melded into one mysterious adventure that only gets better. The added bonuses for the Multiverse Edition are pretty cool!

Axiom Verge is reminiscent of the old Metroid and Castelvania games but adds it's own twist in the genre. The collectors edition is a nice touch and a well welcomed addition to the collection.

If you like classic metroid on the NES, this is great fun on the switch. The music and characters are really interesting and fun. If you are considering buying, just do it.

Best way to describe this games is to say that it plays a lot like the old school Metroid game. One of my favorite retro style plat former type games on the switch so far.

if you love the old style games, this game is for you! megaman, super metroid and so on! this came if very simply but yet so complicated to beat, its a must have game

A great game that draws from metroid with a unique story and progression path. One of the best games you can get for the console. You will not be dissapointed.
