Customers are saying

Customers regard the sound quality of the 2.0 Multimedia Speaker System (2-Piece) as a mixed bag, with some finding it inadequate. The volume is also a point of concern, as some users report limitations in achieving high volume levels without distortion. A few customers found the sound quality acceptable. Overall, the feedback suggests that improvements could be made to both the sound quality and volume capabilities.

the spkrs are OK if you just want to hear voices louder, but real "tinny" and the USB makes loud static noise with the slightest touch or bump of it. I would suggest spending $15 or more and getting a better quality spkr. with better sound. i also got "Dell" spkrs and their is a world of difference in better sound for a few bucks more. I love my Dells,( AC wall socket powered/

Generally, the sound system is very good and cute but the weight is too light. Also, if I would have wished that the USB powered be converted to a power supply powered.

I picked up the speakers from the post office, unpacked them and found out that they don't work. Granted that they were like $7, I am not going to try to return them or anything, too much of a hassle. So my advise would be to invest a few more bucks and buy something that you like.

You get what you pay for. They are not very loud and when you turn them up they have a lot of static. If you don't care about sound quality and don't want to play loud music, these might be a decent option. The upside is that they are cheap, light and connect only with a USB cord.

I realize these are inexpensive speakers and I was buying them for my grandsons PC so wasn't expecting top of the line, but these hummed so bad I unplugged them and put them back in the box. For now he'll stick with his headphones.

Sound is poor even for a speaker of this price range. Once again you get what you pay for.

Use in my office and the speakers do the job surprisingly well. I wish the cords were a bit longer and the speaker does have some static, but it is loud enough and works just fine in my office. Ordinarily use with browser version of spotify and sound blasts loud enough.

    Terrible speakers

These seakers are horrible all around. The only thing that's ok about them is their appearance and its compatibility. Everything else is horrible. Sound quality is absolutely terrible. You'll get better sound out of the built in computer speakers than these. They are also way too light. If you reach over to adjust the volume, you'll knock them over. The distance between them isn't so great either. The maximum distance between the two speakers is about 1 1/2 feet. Not much space to work with. Also, the cords get tangled up way too easily. I Do NOT Recomend This Product To Anyone.

    Know what you're buying.

All I'll say is that you need to be aware of the cost. If you're buying this expecting to get some kind of excellent sound, you're fooling yourself. Nothing with great sound is going to be this cheap. The sound quality is exactly what I expected when I bought it. The only thing that really disappointed me was the poor shielding. I get a lot of interference with other equipment somewhere in my building. I tested them again my coworker who has a higher end pair of speakers and gets none of this interference.

This product is okay. I bought it for my computer. It has lasted about a year and now one of the speakers has stopped working. When you're not listening to anything sometimes it will play static as if it's collecting interference from another device. It's cheap so you get what you pay for; I'm not impressed or disappointed.

I bought this for less than $5. So for the price they are ok. They make a lot of static noise when on but not in use. U also cant turn them up very loud, they will sound distorted.

I bought these speakers for my office computer. I was hoping for a better sound, but for $8, it does the trick. I don't play the speakers loud at all, it's on very low to not bother other people outside of my office. If you're going to use them just for personal use, i.e. music at your desk then they are perfect. There is a static noise that comes through the speakers ever so often. I don't recommend these speakers to anyone who is using them as their primary set but as a second set for mediocre listening.

    Worst speakers on the site.

Instantly drawn to it's low price, I didn't stop to think that the sound quality for these speakers could be bad. The sound that came out seemed muffled, as though you were listening to music underwater, it sounded terrible. I would only recommend buying these if you had to buy speakers for less than 15 dollars. It would be a much better value to spend an extra 10 dollars on the Insignia Speakers.

First I thought this was a very good speaker, but when I bought it, worked well, but sometimes it's hard to make it work. You have to press the power button and then make it work again.
