Great Scott! Step aside Yoda. Move over Captain Kirk. The greatest sci-fi saga is finally available on DVD. The trilogy is long overdue in the new format, but definitely worth the wait. A bonus to the long hiatus will be the extras that have become standard on all new releases. The plot for the trilogy seems complicated at face value as teenage Marty (Fox) and his unlikely best friend Doc Brown (Lloyd) travel back and forth through time altering the past, present, or future at every pitstop. However, when you watch the films, the story is not complicated at all. The script is tightly woven, the characters are memorable, and the chemistry between the major players (Fox, Lloyd, Thompson, Steenburgen, Glover, and Wilson) is unrivaled. The simple moral of the story is "Life is what you make of it." Going against the grain, I have to admit that the second feature was my favorite of the three. This is primarily due to portions where Marty battles his way through scenes in the first film without being seen by his other self or his parents.....similar camera tricks were seen a few years later in Zemekis's other great film "Forrest Gump". I was also amazed at the gratuitous and shameless product placement in the second film, which even made "Seinfeld" seem subtle. One thing I've got my fingers crossed for on the extras would be the scenes with the original Marty as played by Erick Stoltz. Allegedly, three weeks of filming occurred before he was switched out with Micheal J. Fox.

The Back to the Future Trilogy is Hollywood's best example of how to do a trilogy right. With so many misfires (Jurassic Park sequels), Back to the Future presents an example of how it should be done. The Blu-ray is loaded with extras that make this blu-ray set even more enjoyable. The picture truly looks superb. Why can't Hollywood make films like Back to the Future anymore? The storytelling is interesting, it is not riddled with ridiculous CGI effects that make you feel like your watching a video game. Actors and story carry this film...the big budget films of today don't hold a candle to this classic. Only downside of this set is the lack of UltraViolet/digital versions - why???

Like most guys my age, I love all three "Back To The Future" movies. The movies alone deserve a 5 Star Rating. While I haven't explored the many special features across all three discs, the few I have seen are well thought out. All too often, useless content is added to round out a "Special Features" package but that is not the case here. My favorite one (and I wish someone had told me about this because I would have bought it even sooner!) is the actual video from the "Back to the Future: The Ride" that used to be at Universal Studios Hollywood. I loved that ride and getting to see that all over again was a real treat.

The first film stands the test of time. The movie that put MJF on the map. It was fun, out there, and original. The execution was perfect. The second one took it a bit too far into the future, has some redundant scenes, and drags on a bit, but it gave us some radical ideologies. The third one is almost as good as the first, and ends it with a bang. If yoi gree up in the 80's you must own this set. If you are into a newer generation of films, check out the first one at least.

The movies are classics, of course. You can see many reviews elsewhere. I mainly wanted to review the 25th Anniversary BluRay set that has the special features. This set has most of the special features prior sets had, plus it has some newer discussions with the actors about their memories making the movies. It also has a good feature about the Back to the Future ride at Universal Studios. I really enjoyed re-watching the movies in this HD format, and watching all of the special features.

Let me start by saying, "It's Back to the Future. Who doesn't like this trilogy? I haven't met one person who said that this trilogy is lame." The picture quality is amazing. One of the best film conversions I have seen on a blu-ray, and the 7.1 DTS-HD audio is great. Special features are nice and I liked how you can experience Back to the Future The Ride (minus the DeLorean), since they got rid of it at Universal Studios Hollywood. A very great addition to my blu-ray collection.

I don't like to review things until I've had a chance to try them out. Since this was a gift for my hubby and we've been busy, it took awhile. I am thoroughly pleased with the quality of this Blu-Ray set. It easily allows my husband and I to switch between languages easily (we are a bilingual family) and the video quality is wonderful. My only complaint is that I wish the case for the 3 movies was made out of plastic and not the cardboard type, flip-book material.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would! Back to the Future is one of THE best movies out there! Michael J. Fox is GREAT as Marty and the whole story line is amazing!!! Ive watched this hundreds of times and I dont get bored of it at all!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this movie to anyone!!!

I regard this as three of the best movies ever. Who is not familiar with the time travelling exploits of Marty McFly?? Tons of extras..all for one amazing low price...what are you waiti g for??? Grab this, put on the popcorn...and strap yourselves in..cause where we're going, we don't need...road.

Browsing through the Blu-rays, so happy to find the complete series at such a reasonable price. Brought it home and over consecutive Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, watched the whole trilogy with the kids for their first time. They loved it! So much more affordable, comfortable, and better concessions than going catching a movie in the theater.

I got this blu ray version and the options in the menus seem to endless if you have a internet hookup. otherwise there are a lot of features if your like me that don't work. It makes the menu hard to maneuver then. Overall great product, no bad complaints of why not to buy this dvd. Sure beats the vhs tapes I have.

Back to the Future is one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Great filmmaking with awesome writing. This Blu-Ray set has everything from archived featurrettes to new behind the scenes made just for this release. It even comes with the full Back to the Future Ride that used to be at Universal Orlando!

Picture and sound quality are awesome. Have always been a big fan of Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. All three movies were among my all-time favorites as far as time travel movies were concerned. Could not be more happy about how great they look in Blu-ray. Simply great and loved the packaging

I like this 30 disc release because they used better hubs to place the discs , unlike the 6 disc edition which stacks the blurays in this cheap plastic, the edges do not hold the discs like the theree disc set. If you dont need the digital copy release get this one.

This is the best true trilogy out there, you can no longer consider Star Wars because it has many films and more on the way, and Indiana Jones went beyond being a trilogy with that last stink bomb of a movie, this is far better than watching characters just walk for hours on end.

As I collect more blu Ray titles especially classic that have been formatted, when I found this collection I was extremely excited. The quality of the films should look great and since I've never seen the third film this should be a fun surprise.

Growing up this was one of my go to movies that I would watch over and over and for some oddball reason I hadn't made myself to but this on Blu Ray 'til recently. It's all here, all the nostalgia and all the cheesiness that made this series on of the best. Pick it up!

Paid 20$ in store! had been wanting this since its release in 2015 but I remember the msrp on it then was almost 100. It has so much extra and bonus content to enjoy. true fans will not be disappointed

Excellent box set of the cult classic Back to The Future. It's absolutely true that the first movie in the series is definitely the best, however I had forgotten about the ZZTop cameo in the third movie. Definitely worth getting the whole series!

This movie is just a classic. The characters are funny and likable and it also ties in action, romance, sci fi, and a good soundtrack it's a must see. And to get I'll 3 together is awesome.
