This item is something I've been waiting for since smartphones were invented. A way to play controller based games on your phone. The setup is easy. It feels pretty good in your hands. The buttons are a little smaller than i'd like, but it's a very compact device. It feels high quality. The only slight downside is the price. It seems like this would mae sense more at $50-60. That being said, I don't think I'll regret the purchase in the long run.

So far, I've played Minecraft (mobile) and some PS2 emulated games and it has worked perfectly. Definitely has a premium feel to it and I thinks it's a nice touch that Backbone has its own gaming hub/ app to access all your games from Google Play, Xbox Game Pass, etc. It does not have emulated games show up, but that's understandable. I am happy with this purchase.

It's like having a console on your iPhone. The Backbone app is really cool, it puts all the compatible titles in one place. The best way to get the most value out of this, in my opinion, is with services like Xbox Game Pass or Steam Cloud. Gotta love being able to play Skate 3 on my iPhone. The buttons feel great, the device itself is overall sturdy, and the feel of it with the device installed is fantastic. Couldn't recommend a better product for those who want to take their mobile gaming experience to the next level.

While the concept is good and the device itself is solid. My regret is that streaming games in itself is hit or miss. Works great when WiFi is good but struggles even in a decent download/upload speed. Can’t stress enough that the backbone is a solid device, I just don’t believe we are there in terms of streaming games just yet.

To me, this is the best controller for mobile gaming out today. It feels premium, the joysticks play well and it turns your PS Remote Play/GeForce Now/GamePass experience into a truly mobile "take your games anywhere" feeling (as long as your connection is good enough. I highly recommend this controller for those looking to have a console like experience on their phone.

It is a really good controller for a phone. The are a lot of ways to get games, but that also means a lot of set up steps. Some of the games I down loaded for Apple Arcade where not oriented on the screen right, so that is something that needs to improve.

Great way to play on the go. Just connect to my phone and I can play as though I were at home with my console. I recommend having pretty good WiFi though because game play online can look blurry and freeze often. I was unable to play in areas where I had limited service.

Overall this device is pretty nice to have. It's unfortunate it's lightning since the latest iPhone is USB-C, and they aren't offering any exchange programs or rebates for customers needing to upgrade, but that's just me being picky. As for the device itself, it fits pretty much all devices, including my 14 Pro Max, but it is a *little* snug. My biggest gripe is it doesn't have analog triggers, and the joysticks are quite touchy, and it isn't easy to give small inputs, making things like aiming in FPS' really difficult. But for games like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, as an example (Which I played a *ton* using Xbox Cloud Gaming when I was in the process of moving and had my Xbox packed), it's perfect for it. It also works great for on-device games from the App Store, such as Minecraft: Bedrock Edition or Genshin Impact. Overall, I recommend it. Just stay away from their subscription, it's the most overpriced garbage I've ever seen. Literally $50/year for what is essentially a game launcher and screen recording.
