It didn’t seem like it’d be accurate. We tried it a few times separate occasions at one point it read 0.0. I also read that after a few months or depending how often you use it, it has to be sent in for calibration.

This review is nothing against Best Buy. This review is for the product and the company. I can’t tell if this product is defective or if it’s designed poorly, but it drains new batteries QUICK. When I say quick, I mean i blow into it maybe 3-4 times in one night to check my BAC and then it dies. I’ve tested it with multiple new batteries of different top brands. It’s just not feasible to continue to buy batteries for this. At this point I’m just using it as an accessory on my keychain. I do not recommend.

It took me a few dozen blows to figure out what pressure and speed it needed to get a reading. Once I figured it out, it was smooth and consistent sailing. Good battery life.

I've used this 4 or 5 times now. It's OK, but not consistent. One night when I had about 5 drink, it gave me a reading of .16. I took it again, and it was .13. In consecutive readings, it finally got down steady at about .10, which seemed right. So yes, it gives an idea, but you better take a few readings. I'm not sure I'd trust it to be a decider on whether I should drive or not.

It is fun and great to pull out at parties. Not sure I would want to rely on it for drive no drive in court, but we enjoy it.

I love this, however, im not sure if the bluetooth capabilities are neccessary. You can purchase the same exact device for $30 less if you dont care to see exact time sober on your mobile device.

I have no point of reference other than when I get tipsy it acknowledges that I have alcohol in my blood stream. The connectivity to your phone via an app works well.

Great consumer product for safety! Great gift or just to have around.

Cool little device, but it can read inaccurate BAC’s if you do it within more than a few times within a certain period. P

This is good to carry on your keychain when you want to know if its safe to drive. It might run a little low compared to the state one but it does the job

The accuracy of this isn't super accurate. It sometimes will change in between uses, even if it was just for a short period. However, it could just be user error. Who knows?! That's why I think it's good as a game you play with your drinking friends... with caution of course. I wouldn't make any important decisions based on it's readings.

I don't use it much at all, but that is because I don't drink often. It is good to have for peace of mind!

nice indicator appears to be accurate. Wouldn't rely on it 100%. read directions on how to take reading. Kind of fun.

I think this is a great purchase. It will help me and other be responsible

Works pretty well. A little tricky to get the right amount of blow pressure without causing an error.
