Decided a 3D printer was going to be the "big" gift for the family this year for Christmas. I researched relentlessly and ultimately went with the Bambu A1...zero regrets. So easy to set up and just get it running. Have not had to do any troubleshooting or problem solving. We've printed so many fun things and practical items and love collecting new filament colors. If I could, I'd go back and order the AMS Lite with it because it's truly necessary to print in multiple colors but it has been out of stock. Once we finally get one, it'll be perfect. :)

This is my first time getting into 3d printing with no other experience. I chose this model because Bambu’s reputation for being easy to use and best for beginners. Setup took me about 50 minutes. Because I was worried about missing a step etc. Right out the gate there’s presets to print a scraper and a few other items. App setup was simple. And installing and connecting Bambu Studio on Mac was just as simple. A few additional steps in figuring out how to print but simple enough. You can and should go through the Bambu tutorials. It explains basics etc of setup, software. I really cannot believe how much stuff is out there on Makerworld etc. I’ve only had my A1 a couple of weeks and have printed some 20+ items. Reminder that most things take about an hour or more. Through Bambu Studio and practice you can figure out resize and edit to shrink build times. Also print a poop shoot aka plastic catch tray. It’s on Makersworld. Lots of options. Takes about 45 mins. Other than that. It’s a great first printer. I’d suggest as well to make sure you setup on stable table, and somewhere you won’t be also in. Some people say the burning and inhaling of plastic isn’t that big of a deal. But I was getting headaches. So I purposefully now print when I’m not in the room now. To each their own. This is a great device. You won’t be disappointed.

The printer is easy to set up and prints well. Don’t have to tinker with it much unlike some other brands and models. It is a good starter and long term model 3D printer.

Instructions were very easy to follow, great website with support and who doesnt love Makerworld. Can print right out of the box. its amazing!

I have been so impressed with how easy this device is to use. It’s a great machine for getting started. We have been having a great time with it. Print qualities are pretty good, with several customizable setting to help with making adjustments. For more complex colour combinations you will need additional parts that are not included in the machine bundle so be aware that out of the box you are a bit limited in that sense.

This 3d printer truly is an out of the box experience get it put together and it’s ready to go! For that convenience alone it feels like a great launching point to learn about the 3d printing space and all of the little intricacies that come with it. Overall a very capable and dependable machine with plenty that it’s able to do out of box with so much more when getting the right parts

My son loves this printer! He’s 7 and this is his first one. It’s super easy to set up and use!

This is the best consumer printer I've used. It's fairly simple to setup and then it just works. It's amazing. I know the company has not been great supporting the open source community which is the lifeblood of 3D printing. It might be worth considering something else for that fact alone. The hardware and software are reliable, I worry it will not be in the future like what happens with most tech companies in this age. So, recommend with caveats. I would have gone with something else if I didn't have a time crunch and higher budget.

Really cool printer pretty easy to set up it prints neat little fidget toys and I would imagine whatever else you have the plans for. It was very easy to set up and it is pretty fun to use.

The A1 3D printer exceeded my expectations! Setup was simple, prints are accurate, and the build quality is solid. Great value for the price, highly recommended!

Works perfectly without problems and easy to setup

The printer works great, within a couple of days I’ve got it set up to print detailed creations. Best Buy curbside pick up arrived on time and with no issues. Before you buy be aware there is time required for assembly and set up. I also recommend a enclosure for the printer as well.

This was a HUGE upgrade over my older Ender 3. It is a plug and play 3d printer, very suitable for both beginners and exprienced users. Very impressed.

So easy to start up and use. Print fast and accurately while still maintaining good adhesion. Have over 500 print hours and only 2 failed prints.

Honestly one of the best purchases you can make. If you're someone who finds themselves needing one for school, dont hesitate, just buy it. Its super super easy to setup and use, even if you are not tech-savvy. Definitely an investment, but worth it if you love to design and print items for school, or hobbies.
