Bambu Lab - A1 3D Printer - Silver

I have very little experience with 3d printers and printing and really knew nothing about them before 5 months ago. After searching the web for a couple of months to see which one was most popular among beginners and had a good track record as far as dependability the Bambu Lab was at the top of the list. I decided to go ahead and get this model and give it a try to see if I could get good results like others I had read about. I also read where a lot of people had given up because they couldn't get results and the whole process was to difficult and frustrating to waste any more time on. I honestly thought I would probably be in that group as well because I don't have a lot of patience if things don't improve in a short time frame. After purchasing my printer I came home and immediately started setting it up. I was really impressed with the ease and the small amount of time it took to get it up and going and printing some various projects. For over 30 years I've had a set of blueprints for the B9 robot that was used in the tv show Lost in Space and since then Ive had a dream of building my own full size replica to display in my game room. After purchasing this printer I decided to start the long journey of building my robot. I was so impressed with how easy it was to operate and the print speed that i went and purchased another one the following week. Its been about 6 weeks since I purchased the first one and I can't believe the progress I've made in that short amount of time. There's no way I could have gotten this far along with my project without this printer. I highly recommend it for beginners because its so easy to get it up and going in such a short amount of time.

Bought the printer a couple months ago and it works great. No Major Issues. The UI of the printer is intuitive and its sister software (Bambu Studio) is as well. The print quality is great and prints are very stable at lower speeds although these lower speeds still seem very fast. The price paid for it was MSRP and for that price, value is unmatched.

This is a great printer and is absolutely worth the price. The printer is very easy to setup and start using. Everything has been very smooth and prints look great. Only thing I dislike about it is the low framerate of the camera, but it still works for checking prints remotely and isn't that big of a deal.

I originally bought this 3D printer “just for fun”… and maybe to make a few laser jigs for our laser cutting and engraving business. That was the plan. A simple, responsible plan. Fast forward to now, I use this thing for absolutely everything. Sometimes I print things I don’t even need just because I can’t stop watching it magically create objects out of thin air. It’s like living with a tiny robot factory that never sleeps. At first it was practical stuff like wall hangers, shop jigs, little organizational helpers. Then it escalated. Decorations. Toys. A custom door stop. A laundry detergent cup holder that drains back into the bottle (because apparently I now solve problems no one asked me to solve). You start looking around your house differently. “Could I print that?” “Should I improve that?” “Why buy it when I can design it?” Before you know it, every room slowly becomes… populated. Honestly, it might be an addiction. A productive, creative, wildly satisfying addiction — but still. So maybe don’t buy this. Unless you’re ready for your home to slowly transform into a showroom of things you proudly say, “Oh that? Yeah, I printed that.”

I’ve bought many things for more than $300 that simply did not feel worth the cost. This printer punches well above its price range. I am very pleased with this. I have recommended it to all my friends and family who enjoy DIY, creativity and solving annoying little inconveniences. I printed my first RC plane with this. I’ve solved many problems with this! Filament is very affordable ($12-$15 for most types). Removing the nozzle sounds very daunting. I’m not what you’d call a handy man- but I was able to easily figure it out when I experienced my first clog. This thing is made for people who do not know what they’re doing. Best of all- the software gives you access to a full library of pre-made prints from thousands of people. You can search what you want to print and have a free ready to print option. I highly recommend!!!
