Once you have the hang of things, you will definitely start buying different filaments. Bambu Lab brand filament has RFID tags to make your prints easier to run.

Not only money, but also lots of time on tuning. I've got a1 mini as a backup for my main printer. Except now a1 mini is my main printer and I only use my custom printer for large parts.

I do see why people might need the bigger one. But this one can work if you just need smaller stuff and with speed. Nice size if you don't want it taking up a lot of space.
