Good history. Got copy for history nut friend whom enjoyed honest portrayal.

The film depects many key historic battles that took place during the 2nd World War in Euorpe including the attack at Normandy, and the Battle of the Bulge. The film brilliantly depects the comrodary between the fighting men of this era. The film is produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, Band of Brothers is a ten-part miniseries based on the book Band of Brothers: E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne From Normandy to Hitler's Eagle's Nest by Stephen E. Ambrose. The series dramatically re-creates the path of Easy Company, an elite paratrooper unit, from their basic training at Camp Toccoa in Georgia in 1942, to D-Day, to their critical involvement in the through their triumph at the close of the War. It's a must see!

When I first saw this, it really made me appreciate history more and allows you to see really what that second world war was like. Its not like what you learn in school, it is completely raw. The series is so genuine and brings to life so much detail that you could never imagine. So glad I bought this for myself.

I finally talked myself into buying the Band of Brothers set. I have seen it before and it just is so powerful. It really puts you front and center and allows you to see really what it was like during WWII. Fantastic actors and I highly recommend buying and watching this!

I've wanted to watch this miniseries ever since I learned about it from my friend whose father is actually in the movie! It is about WWII. A popular miniseries that I thought was only available online.

I am a history teacher and I enjoy viewing recreation of time line via DVD. I used this series to teach my kid what it would have been to fight WWII in Europe. My God our old generation were brave and patriotic.

This is a well written, well acted mini series about the brave men in the 101st Airborne division during WW2. Very well production value. Great job by all involved in making this series. Highly Rcommend.

Bought this for a now ex for a present and had never seen the series before and had watched it and was def good! and having all diff episodes in a box set was so awesome!

A example of what happens when you take a group of individuals and put them into life threatening situations and the bond that begins and grows into a brotherhood of trust and comradeship.

I enjoy the series very much. I only wish it was longer. It shows brother ship in the war. Great details. Even better then the book.
