I haven't watched this innovative miniseries yet but I'm going to.

This is the best World War 2 related show ever made. Watch it as soon as possible.

This series based on the U.S. Army 101st Airborn Division's inception and missions from Operation Overlord to V-J day. I found it to be moving, though it had a couple of historical inaccuracies...they did not liberate Kaufering, a sub camp of Dachau, but arrived the day after it was discovered by the 134th Ordnance Maintenance Battalion of the 12th Armored Division, and which Allied unit first reached and breached Kehlsteinhaus is still disputed. The Battle of the Bulge sequences were heart-wrenching. What these heroes of Easy Company experienced was so vividly portrayed on screen. It was hard to watch at times. Excellent drama.

Fantastic show, everyone who has the slightest interest in World War 2 needs to watch this short series. Go get it in-store so you can make sure you get the version with the beautiful slip cover. If you have it on dvd it's still worth it to upgrade, not just for the improved visuals and sound quality from bluray but because it has a new picture-in-picture commentary "In the Words of Easy Company". The discs have an interesting print on them that reminds me of film negatives that my camera cannot accurately capture.

Band of Brothers offers a realistic and unique perspective, from the soldiers who lived it, into a period of American history and that of the world. It is the dramatic story of these young men's war journey from basic training to England's battlegrounds and depicts their bravery, sacrifice and bond of brotherhood. The story is captivating and worthy of watching.

This is a really good package for an excellent miniseries. The digital code said it was expired but I was still able to redeem it. Well worth it!

One of the best War movie series put together. Great cast and kudos to Spielberg/ Hanks for their work to get this collection made. Visuals and special effects along with extras make this a must.

The blu-ray quality is amazing, as is the sound. The extras offer a great lesson in history, and an interesting background to the action in the miniseries.

Shows outstanding I’ve had the steel box set Blu-ray since release. Bought this a few days ago which the box stated Blu-ray plus digital. Just went to enter the code and of course expired. So if you see it advertised as digital included it’s FALSE. And this case is terrible just opening to get the useless code out the discs all shot out cause this is bottom tier set. Again if your good with just the physical it’s one of the all time great. Miniseries haven’t met anyone who dislikes

This is an amazing series. If you want to get a taste of what it was like to be on the front lines of WWII, this should help. If you want to get a bit of a feel for what it was like to be a soldier in the US Military... This is tough for me to watch. I have a hard time understanding why people can be so rotten to other people, which is why I have a tendency to avoid films like this. There is one scene where the US troops are traveling through the streets of Holland, and they pass by a woman, terrified and in distress, holding her baby. It was...hard. But it is part of world history; the world we live in. It is part of our nations history. I think it's important that we know about it, and try to understand it. I believe that series helps us in that endeavor.

One of the finest mini series I have ever seen. I felt I knew them all by the end. The cast was perfect. I didn't see it broadcast but was fortunate to be able to watch it on a borrowed dvd set acouple of years after it was aired. It has always been in the back of my mind to aquire a copy, very glad I filally did. Seeing it again just reinforced my earlier opinion of the series. I remember, shotly after watching it the first time, that Dick Winters name had been placed on the me Memorial Wall in Carentan. I felt like I had just lost a very close uncle.

The best thing about this movie is it is a true, told by the 101st Airborne American soldiers that survived WWII from the beaches of Normandy to the end of the war two years later. That's a long time for not knowing whether you would live to see the sunset that evening or sunrise the next morning. I learned that first hand being a US Marine for 13 1/2 months in the jungles of Vietnam. Semper Fi (Just like 101st or 82nd Airborne Units).

Legendary series, have watched it once a year ever since it came out

Love this movie series. To have the people that were actually there to give their stories and for HBO to put such a realization behind it. Great series, so glad i bought it!

This is simply television masterpiece and must own for fans of physical media.

A candid look at men at war. Not pretty but citizen soldiers who were often scared, always rather be somewhere else but doing a job that needed to be done.

This is a very entertaining retelling of struggles of airborne troops in World War II. When I researched and found that this is for the most part an accurate portrayal of the events these men endured it made the mini series even better. My only wish is that this was in 4K.

This is a really a great series if you enjoy war and the forced relationships that the hardships of war and combat brings to bond brothers in war. A great example of the better side of humanity during conflict.
