Good story and combat. It copies the other Arkham games and makes a few extra improvements. Even though they used different voice actors, which kind of annoys me, they all do a great job. A must own for fans of the Arkham series.

I am a HUGE batman fan. This game was pretty amazing, they fixed a lot of the things i didn't like about Arkham City. Fast Travel is a valuable asset to have in this game, even though as of right now the audio is off when you grapple to the batwing (But I'm sure they will fix it in an update). I was however, a tad bit disappointed when I found out the mask behind black mask (Sorry didn't want to spoil it), I didn't want the story line to be about that particular character, I was PUMPED for the story line to be about black mask. Hopefully, when and if they decide to make another batman game, they choose wisely on the story line. Still, despite my disappointment I still thoroughly enjoyed playing the game. I would probably buy it again and again, just because I love Batman.

there is a lot of action and the graphics are great

Some people say this is the weakest game in the series, and that might be true. But at the same time that's comparing it to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, two amazing games! This is fun and I loved the story and seeing how relationships between Batman and some of the most notorious villains in Gotham all began!

This batman game is good. Most of the mechanics that Rocksteady Studios got us used to are there, but something seems to be missing. The voice acting is good as well, but again something is lacking. The game feels like a filler episode; something to do while waiting for the next Batman game to debut.

I think of this game as more of an "expansion" rather than a brand new game. It's fun to travel around Gotham before it was gotham city and the voice actors and WB did a great job replacing Rocksteady for this addition. I don't think the story was particularly compelling but it was definitely not boring and I think it is a worthy addition to the series. I play it on ps3. If you play the games in chronological order: origins, asylum, city, the bar is set higher and higher. Definitely loved the game play. But unfortunately there wasn't anything new in terms of gadgets or gameplay features, just more of the same. And like the games before it, it ain't all that bad.

Another classic to add to your Batman collection. Great game all around. The story had several twists. I won't spoil it for those who haven't played it but the climax of the game will definitely surprise you. Met all my expectations and glad they made the Riddler portion a lot easier. It is still frustrating but not as much as the previous side missions. Love the new detective mode. Sum it all up: great story, side missions, etc etc etc. Only gets 4 stars due to a few audio problems in a couple of cut scenes (sound not syncing with mouth movement). But I purchased the game when it was first released and have read they have patches to rectify that. Game still awesome regardless

I bought this so the kids could play batman while I'm using the tv in the living room and they can't play arkham knight on the PS4. It's an excellent story don't let people push you away from this because some of the gadgets don't fit into the story timeline the game is excellent.

Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are my top 2 favorite games... ever. City is my #1 and Asylum is #2. If you are new to these games, here is what you need to know... The Arkham series is the BEST superhero game series ever made to this day. These are openworld games and the main gameplay is divided into two categories. 1) brawling with groups of thugs and 2) predator challenges. The brawling is amazing... the combat system starts out very simple but as you progress through the game you learn new moves and you quickly discover that the combat system is very very deep and can be as complicated as you want it to be. The predator csequences are stealth based gameplay where you are confronted with between 5 and 10 armed thugs who roam about a large room who batman takes down one by one. Again, this system is very deep and there are countless ways to approach each situation. However... Arkham origins is the 3rd game in the series and this was made by a different video game developer than the first two games. Arkham Origins tries to improve on the first two games in several ways, some which work and some which dont. While I didnt find Arkham Origins as enjoyable as the first two games... I still did find it enjoyable. So in summary... if you have not played Asylum or City then go out and play those NOW. If you really enjoyed Asylum and City then go ahead and pick up Origins and Im sure you will be glad you did. But if you played Arkham cCity and did not like it too much then I'm sure that this title is not worth your time.

I bought this game at a decent price. The storyline to this game is excellent. I usually skip through cutscenes but no need to skip through in this game. The fighting mechanisms are awesome. It would've been better if you could drive the bat mobile to the different locations. The bosses on this game are top notch especially when you get to the deathstroke level. That was one of the hardest levels I've played in any video game. I would recommend this game to anyone that liked the other batman games. This is a good game to play before the were batman game comes out.

One of the best Batman games they have made. Great action and story. lots of fun zipping and gliding around Gotham and the fights are fluid action.

I got the steel disc case also. I think WB is moving all future Batman games to the Xbox One/PS4 generation and won't churn out anything for PS3/Xbox 360 anymore. So, enjoy this as probably the last game of the previous era of consoles.

The gameplay is fun, just like the other Arkham titles. However, I have not yet finished the game (still enjoying the storyline, etc.) If it's like th ending Arkham Asylum (which I found not to be challenging enough), then my scores would be lower. SIDE NOTE...GAME DEVELOPERS: Keep up good content like this, but make the foes a bit more challenging: such as, maybe you need weapon B to defeat foe F, you can get to foe F but if you don't have weapon B then you can't win the fight and need to return. Don't fully "guide" the player through the gameplay!

Got this game on sale for $15.99 / Awesome graphics / Good storyline / Better punching ability than previous Batman games. The only down-side to this game is that it doesn't explain how to solve certain objectives very well.

I'm not a big gamer anymore, but i find this game fun. It feels like you are really Batman playing. I had heard people say that about the first two games in the series but I never played either of them. Fun stuff

Its a great game for the series and adds some new equipment that adds some new combat moves. The story is awesome as well as the graphics. The game can be annoyingly challenging for some of the random fights at higher difficulty. The biggest drawback is after you complete everything the game loses most replayability, and can be a little glitchy. If your a fan of the series its worth getting or at least renting. It has multiplayer online features as well but I have not done much of this after beating the game.

THIS GAME IS AMAZING.THE STORY LINE,GRAPHICS,COMBAT MOVES,GADGETS ITS ALL WELL MADE.THIS GAME IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME.

Great game that flows very well from start to finish, despite the weirdness that you have more gadgets earlier on in Batmans timeline than you did in the first two games that take place after this one.

A few years ago a friend turned me on to the Arkham series of Batman games. I have loved all of them so far. They never disappoint! The story line is always very dark making for an amazing gaming experience. They also add in villains that aren't very well known. The combat is easy to master and is very cool to watch. Batman's gadgets are very fun to use too. This game is amazing! I hope they continue with the Arkham series. I will continue to buy them as long as they are produced.
